Avatar m tn Emotional difficulties Many adults with ADD/ADHD have a hard time managing their feelings, especially when it comes to emotions like anger or frustration.
Avatar f tn I disagree with the analysis above regarding Vyvanse withdrawal. My neuro-psychiatrist indicated that, unlike other ADD medications, my missing 1 day was the cause of Extreme fatigue, depression, irritability along with ADD symptoms. NOT INCLUSIVE EXPLANATION: Vyvanse uses adrenaline/cortisol (fight-flight hormones), stopping is similar to exhaustion following an intense situation and recovery time correlates to how long you've been taking it.
Avatar n tn You were not specific on the symptoms you experience, but my guess is that when you exercise you don't drink water, or you sweat to excess. This will dehydrate you and you will lose salt and other minerals. You can experience shaking of the hands, visual disturbances, headaches, stomach aches, stitches in the sides, exhaustion, low grade temps and other unpleasant symptoms. If this is the case, try drinking a fluid that has minerals in it like Cytomax.
Avatar n tn Hi Sebastiandelacroix- I am having some of the same symptoms as you and am wondering what it is also. I am interested in knowing if you have some of the others I have had...along with the involuntary twitching in my legs and numbness and tingling in my arms and hands I have had fatigue and migraines. My doc put me on a heart medication for my migraines and they have subsided for the most part but now the twitching and arm/hand probs have arisen.
Avatar n tn I can be tired after 12 hours sleep! Can I be suffering symptoms from my thallassemia. Does any one else feel the same way that I do? This is a little bit hard for me, but I don't want to complain.

Avatar m tn I also read it's very common to need the valve(s) revised as you grow. Some of the newer valves can last 20 plus years. Do you know why the newer adult valve started leaking? There are 3 or 4 options one the valve replacement. If it were me I'd seek a couple opinions on them and choose the one you like best. The least invasive (cath) might not be expected to last as long as traditional.
Avatar f tn Migraine headaches can cause a pulsating pain, tinnitus and eye symptoms. Another possibility is fibromyalgia. Symptoms of fibromyalgia include chronic widespread pain, muscle aches and pains, chronic fatigue, sleep disturbances and allodynia which is painful response to touch. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fibromyalgia Please discuss these possibilities with your physician and keep us posted!
Avatar m tn In these years I learned various self-monitoring skills as well as some self-reinforcing tactics. Sometimes these symptoms affected my day-to-day life severely and negatively, sometimes positively and sometimes the affect was non-existent, insignificant and hardly noticeable. “Feeding” ordinary, normally transient feelings of sadness with sad or negative movies, books, music, and conversations with negative people saw a difficult habit to overcome.
587279 tn?1223704355 It is band in ENGLAND for over stimulating 3, heart patients died in tests , NOT A MED FOR ANXIETY
572651 tn?1531002957 The Parkinson's side of Medhelp is a tad slow to respond, so being that (though I have different meds) I have some of the same type of symptoms that most of you folks have. By the way, my meds have absolutely changed my life, as life is much more enjoyable for me now. My doc wrestled around what appeared, due to symptoms, to be MS, or a mimic. After only two years, I was diagnosed with Parkinson's and Fibromyalgia.
1281668 tn?1271379782 ) the weight of carrying my son amplified my symptoms and my limbs would go numb, they finally began taking me serious when my arms would turn blue, and they sent me to a neurologist... I was told I had significant pressure on my brain and was sent for an MRI. I was then diagnosed with Chiari 1...After I had my son my symptoms continued to get worse, pressure in my head to even laugh or caugh. I had the chiari decompression surgery when I was 17 years old.
Avatar n tn finally they got me to the Mayo Clinic, and it turned out my bladder hadn't been growing in accordance with the rest of my body and was way to small for my size...so it was something I had no control of. :o( I'd get by the dr and if there's no sign of bladder infections, ask if it's possible that her bladder is too small, they'll probably do an ultra sound..if that's the case, it'll save you guys a lot of time and stress... Good Luck!!
1318351 tn?1313385021 I have nothing wrong really lol My dr's STILL do not have a name for what I have just different results of tests I've had and a multitude of maybe's and treat those symptoms.
Avatar n tn I've been experiencing some odd symptoms over the past few years and they have since gotten worse and now concerning to me. My vision is constanly bothering me and I have a hard time focusing on words when reading. In the past I've had spells of blurred vision followed by a lathargic state and then a pounding headache. This headache sometimes lasted for more than 24 hours. About 3 years ago, I had an MRI done and all came back clear.
Avatar n tn I second the comment about possible thyroid problems (hyperthyroidism). Other symptoms can include tachycardia (fast heart rate), weight loss despite eating at least a normal amount (maybe more), feeling "jittery", and protruding eyes. Are you having any of these? You should get yourself checked out.
653142 tn?1224804820 I have experienced fatigue since the age of 11, but it has worsened in the past few years. I am a 22 year old female. I have so many of the symptoms of hypothyroidism, could my thyroid still not be functioning very well despite normal test results? I am a senior in college and I have every intention of attending graduate school programs but I simply will not be able to effectively do what I want to do with this level of fatigue. Even if I felt only 20% better it would be like being reborn.
Avatar f tn Symptoms listed for MS are double vision, loss of balance, pain, exhaustion, bowel and bladder issues, numbness and tingling, concentration and memory problems. Yes i have a laundry of symptoms as you put it. I would call them Multiple Symptoms. I can't say as sure as you can supermum_ms that i don't have MS. I wish i could. Not everyone who has MS has the same symptoms which is why it's so difficult to diagnose. It's complex.
Avatar n tn I don't know what I want to do yet, maybe start a petition describing our problem and one of us take it to the Mayo Clinic or something. I am actually convinced that we have an illness that is yet to be discovered.
897578 tn?1241724871 After a long road of confusion in all the many mysterious symptoms I was experiencing (including blacking out while driving due to heart palpitations, which caused prolonged QTs and arrhythmias), I was finally diagnosed with Grave's, Hashimoto's, and Thyrotoxicosis (my TSH levels are <.006).
Avatar n tn She is so exhausted that she can't fight no more against medical community in order to admit the origin of her symptoms and to push them to try to find a beginnning of solution. Is there any progress in the comprehension of the cause of these symptoms ? Are there some new treatments that appeared recently to counteract exhaustion and pains ? Do people group themselves in associations to better fight against this disaster ?
Avatar f tn Check out Dr. Kharrazian's thyroid book, "Why Do I Still Have Thyroid Symptoms When My Lab Tests Are Normal?" I have been living with Hashimoto's most of my adult life and his theory is that you need to treat the autoimmune disease. It might be helpful for you in your journey. Fascinating information.
Avatar n tn If you've been diagnosed with Chiari 1 and they haven't mentioned surgery, you'll just need to keep track of any symptoms and get regular MRI's. The most common form of Chiari Malformation is Type 1, it often manifests later in life (not at birth, but sometimes in children) with headaches and cerebellar symptoms like dizziness and memory/concentration problems. The cerebellum in the lower back of the brain starts extending down past the skull into the spine.

Avatar n tn It can definitely be all due to anxiety. I had similar symptoms as you. I went to ears nose and throat doctors and to eye doctors (to look for the tumor that I thought was there...it wasn't..thank God) and Neurologists. I had CAT scans on my head and even begged my doctor to give me an MRI! (Took a while to find a doctor who would approve this!) IT WAS ALL DO TO DEPRESSION AND ANXIETY.....I truly believed that it was physical and it wasn't.
Avatar n tn For the past 4 years I have been experiencing horrible symptoms. It seemed that the whole thing started as a sinus infection but then I went for a CT scan of sinuses and they were clear. I have been having symptoms of dizziness, head pain, shakiness and a spaced out kind of foggy feeling like i am watching my life from the outside - all day every day. There are some times for a couple of hours during the day that the symptoms may lift and give me a few moments to live- but not much.
Avatar f tn Also a small cup of grated carrot taken every morning is said to be offensive to all kinds of parasites. There are a million ways to get rid of the adult worms inside you, but avoiding reinfection is the hard part.
