I'm a ftm and I'm 37 weeks. My mother-in-law is throwing a baby shower for me but it's a five hour drive and I'll be 38 weeks when the trip is taking place. I took a 6 hr trip exactly when I was 36 weeks. It was hard after 2 hrs of sitting I couldn't stand the pain in my ribs and butt lol. I ended up laying in the back seat the remainder of the trip which was so much better.

I just went on a 1100 mile road trip each way at 31 weeks. You should be good! Lots of stretching and dont hold your pee!

Do you think its to early to take a newborn (about a week or more old) on a 10 hour road trip? Im due april 5 but am going on a road trip with my grandparents april 15 to my dads so he can meet his grand child. But i don't want to take my little guy out to early. I did manage to forget my meds for the trip. Called the VA to see about getting a supply of at least my BP meds, but they never called in a script. Was disappointed that I didn't see any wildlife on the trip, 1500+ miles and not even a crow. I was also planning on making reports during the trip, but couldn't get my laptop to connect with any wifi spots. It took several days once I got here to finally get it working.

I m week 29 now and almost finishing a road trip from Florida to Dallas (18 hours over 2 days). I m worried from too much sitting in the car. Will that cause the baby to go low faster than it is suppose to? I m worried from discomforting him.
