Has anyone out there had a psoas hitch for a severed ureter? How has it worked for you? Any side effects? Did you have open surgery?
My obgyn cut my ureter during a routine hysterectomy. I went through hell for two months until the problem was discovered. Now I have a nephrostomy tube and bag. I have reimplantation surgery scheduled for July 6th at Johns Hopkins. I'm interested to know how things have gone for others. Both the immediate recovery and the long term.
