I live in Arizona. The soloar eclipse or lunar eclipse legenda from what ive learned about.In many diffrent cultures mine is Latin pregnant women are cautioned to stay indoors and not watch the eclipse because it can cause birth defects and unwanted spirits to harm your unborn child.So there are different precuations taken then agian other cultures embrace them as good.
The eclipse tonight is not a solar eclipse but rather a lunar eclipse. A National Geographic (fairly reliable I would say!) article I just read said it is the third in four with the last eclipse being at the end of September with the four combined being called a tetrad. I wouldn't worry too much. Thanks for mentioning it but we already survived two others! I have heard of hurricanes effecting pregnancy but we dont have to worry about those just yet! Not sure how true it is anyhow!

It is absolutely not true!! This is my third pregnancy and iv never done anything like that and my kids are perfectly fine and healthy.I believe and trust in god especially to protect my kids not in a eclipse. And seriously anyone who believes in these "rituals" it's a little silly.
So I want to know what you ladies think about an eclipse and being pregnant, I've heard if you're expecting and there's an eclipse baby can be born with a malformation or cleft lip, etc etc... what do you ladies think? Do u know of anyone who experienced an eclipse and baby was born with any malformations??!!
I was pregnant on the last eclipse I went out I didn't wear red or a pin it's just an old wives tail or superstition what ever you want to call it.... it it's by far the absolute so craziest thing it's have ever heard... my family had old wives tails and i used to be so scared to do certain things but I have done them all now and proven them all lies...

Has anybody else ever heard if you go out while there is a lunar eclipse while pregnant your baby comes out with cleft lip??? Just asking since there is going to be an eclipse this month on the 18 & 19 and then another on nov 3rd..
yes dea' today i guess is the most powerful solar eclipse in the decade.. highest visible in britain!
