I'm a ftm so I don't know if eating a pie that has raw eggs in it is bad for the baby. I have been eating this pie my whole life and many pregnant woman in my family have too. I just wonder because my step mom said its bad and she is a RN. Any suggestions?

When I got sick I was, and had always been, living in endemic areas and was still told over and over how, for various reasons, I couldn't have Lyme.
So instead of getting a timely diagnosis I got about a year of run-around, capped off with a steroid treatment that wreaked havoc on me.
I'm just griping that even when geography can't be used, there is always some reasoning to go against Lyme.

You are a lucky girl if this is the biggest problem you have. Try to relax. (In fact, that is not my favorite kind of pie, either. Something about the eggwhite topping.) It is certainly true that you can make it, cut off a day or two's worth, and freeze the rest. He should not feel forced to eat it.
