I stopped using the BP and just put mild aloe vera on my face, but the rash remained (even spread a little and got worse, I think it was coming to a head or something?) for about a week. The thing that finally got it to go down was spreading a paste of cooked oatmeal, aloe vera, and some chamomile tea on my face and letting it sit for about 15 minutes, then washing it off and just putting on some aloe vera gel.
I have long hair and if I put it up or have it down it always touches my neck and back, I clean my back, shoulders, face, chest all the time and they clear up somtimes but then I hit my period and then it takes weeks for it to clear up again. And then I started to try lemon juice and it bleached my skin. Does Aloe Vera work for the scars or is it just for healing the pimples themselves?
I read somewhere that Vitamin E and Aloe Vera lip balm could shorten the healing time so I bought Aloe Vera and started using it on my lips since three days ago.
The thing is that since I started using it my upper lip has become somewhat yellowish in some areas around the the lower side all the way around, and a little even a bit up on the lip. Could this be an effect from the Aloe Vera lip balm? I red something today about Fordyce's Condition and it looks awfully lot like that.
If the acne scars are fairly new, then aloe vera applied during your nighttime facial regimen will help reduce the acne scarring redness of the spots over a few weeks. At age 21, this should be a good treatment. For quicker results (and little more expensive), salicylic acid peels and microdermabrasion treatments done by an aesthetician or a dermatologist will also help reducing scar tissue by removing the top layer(s) of skin - there's a noticeable difference after 2-3 treatments.
I really don't know why people are using benzoyl peroxide for acne. Just apply Aloe Vera on it to get rid of the pain.
Lastly, place a clean bandage over the aloe vera leaf it to keep it in place . Do this after each heat treatment. You may have to do this for several days or even up to 10 days. Do not scratch, pick or squeeze the cyst.
Aloe vera not only heals but it has an antibiotic action. If this does not work for you, your only option may be surgical removal and antibiotics.

If you are not dry (meaning, you can smile and frown and raise your eyebrows without feeling any tightness in your skin) the it is okay to dab on a spot treatment at night. Don't put this on if your skin is dry, as it will only irritate it more.

Hello. I have had these red bumps on my chest that look like pimples or cysts, they are fairly large and swollen. They are Also hard to touch. I tried putting salisylic acid and benzoyl peroxide acne treatment but they were no help, the bumps were still there. I've used many topical acne treatments but the "pimples" still won't shrink or disappear.
Well, a fellow Canadian. I've never heard of Aloe Vera as a treatment for Hep.C. I do know that it has some amazing properties. Have you checked out the possibility of treatment with Interferon? That is what I'm doing, my viral load is down, but side effects can be difficult. This treatment has been proven to be very successful. Have you tried anything else?
s hard to say what the cause is without seeing them but a few things could be chaffing, which is the rubbing of your inner thighs, exzema, an allergy/intolerance or infection.
Have you tried aloe vera gel? Make sure it is pure. Aloe vera is a miracle for all sorts of skin ailments including rashes, burns and acne. Apply this liberally for a day or two and you should notice improvement. Don't scratch or rub as this only irritates the skin more.

I popped a pimple and this pinky red patch has been on my forehead for about 5 days. What is this and will it scar? Will aloe Vera gel help? I have olive skin if that helps. I don't have acne but this skin appeared after I popped a normal spot. I'm worried it will scar.

i've been getting rough red itchy rashes on my inner thighs since i was a young kid. it lasts just about a few weeks around summer time but it leaves permanete marks. recently i've been getting the same thing on my underarms and the back of my knees. i believe it is from the heat but im not sure. i've been cleaning the rashes with stridex pads and using aloe vera on them. the rashes are not getting better and they are growing.
