i use Mk timewise also :) ............ i've used it for a long time but twice during pregnancies i wasn't able to use it... but last pregnancy and this time its been fine! but i also use the acne treatment gel which has 5% bezoyl peroxide in it and someone said that you shouldn't use anything with that in it. i was just wondering if that was true.

Using acne products is sort of like dying your hair during pregnancy Theyre not sure of how much of the chemicals is absorbed and if they harm the baby etc. Different drs have different takes on if theyre okay to use or not. The best advice i can give you is to tell your dr your using it, and use it after your out of the first trimester because thats when the anatomy is forming. I use stridex pads occasionally because i get acne a lot ): it *****.

I am suffering from extremely bad acne during my pregnancy, i was really hoping that someone could give me some ideas about how to clear it up. My husband has been making coments and i have not been feeling very good about myself either. I dont want to make a big deal over it but it is affecting my happiness and my pregnancy. I have developed an acne like rash along the right side of my face and have deduced that it was from sleeping on my ex's chest. After months of non-contact it has not lessened. It is reddish and there are only several spots that are raised bumps, most are just discolored. It sometimes itches and acne washes, etc. just seem to dry out my skin. Several esthiticians have said that it could be a bacterial infection or fungus.

I've pretty much told everyone on here that my acne is bad and only getting worse!! It seems to be only on my forehead with minimal breakouts on my chin and cheeks. But its horrible!! So I started using this new acne treatment and it was doimg fine. I mean I still get a few breakout but it was clearing my blemishes and my skin felt better. After about a month my neck and my eye lids started to itch. I am not sure why this happened but I thought it was like a rash or infection so I put anitbiotic on it and then it felt better. So I told my sis and she said it my be eczema and I have never had eczema before so I looked it up and tried to find about it.
