my age is 24 and doing job in private company.my problem is that i have acne and pimples on my face skins.because of it i look very ugly and not feel comfortable in public.so please give suggestion that should i go for a cosmetic surgery?is cosmetic surgery is safe..? i heard about a dermaroller technique for acne skins and other skin problems..so should i go for a dermaroller technique?please help me..i m very worried and i need a treatment before i marry.

Treatment for such acne like bumps includes topical and oral antibiotics, topical retinoids, hormonal therapy, dermabrasion , phototherapy and laser resurfacing.
Normally a combination of treatments is followed and if nothing proves effective then dermabrasion and laser therapy are useful. You can discuss these treatment options with your dermatologist. Till then follow the treatment that has been prescribed to you and use Accutane only under medical guidance.
I am dark skinned (my parents are from India) and have darkened inner thighs as well. I went to my dermatologist for acne treatment and as I did a little research I realized I show symptoms of polycystic ovary syndrome.. darkened skin, acne, weight, etc. I think it's worth it see a doctor, my family doctor was reluctant to refer me to a dermatologist but I am so glad that he eventualy did because I think I'm getting somewhere.

Hi I as well belongs to India. I as well tested 4 times 2 and 3 month combo test from lal path lab at delhi and tridot test at 6 months all negative... However i still has symptoms like acne, gassy stomach and swollen nodes. i tested positive for HSV. i don't know whom to consult in India as u know very few std doctors could be there whom we do't know. but i feel and hope that both of us conclusively negative. please keep in touch.

First derma. Prescribed dosage worked out in 20 days, but again acne started coming in 7-8 months. Again I consult with second, he prescribed me mentioned above, But I read from Internet that Isotretinoin has many side effects including hair fall, so I neglect that dosage of Isotretinoin by afraid , only azithromycin took for 6 days.
I'm 20 years old female from India. I have a lot of smaller acne on my arms. I know I got it from my father. But initially I had only few of these acne. After using an ointment prescribed by one of the dermatologists back home, those acne spread all over my upper arm. Now, I can't wear any sleeveless clothes even during summer, or go for swimming because those acne are horrible and make me too self-conscious.

Engage in a diet that is low in sugar and fat but is rich in vitamins. This prevents acne by preventing the buildup of excess oil on the skin. Also refrain from touching or squeezing your shoulder acne. Also try to keep your hair free of dandruff by using good antidandruff shampoos. You can also apply benzoyl peroxide creams or clindamycin cream on the acne.
If the symptoms persist, then oral antibiotics may be needed and cystic acne need to be ruled out .Please consult a dermatologist then.
