Its probably not helping your skin. Try stoping by sephora and picking up the anti acne liquid foundation and the anti acne primer. ( i personally have oil skin and acne issue pre-pregnancy and this stuff worked wonders for me.) Even tge regular foundation with the primer. I also use a face kit call beauty control by skin logistics. Non sented, and a little bit goes a long way !!

I have acne problem, and when I thread my eyebrows and upper lips little red bumps appear, skin redness, and I was wondering, it is okay if i wash my face with soap right after it?

Enough to say that I would not go out of the house without makeup. I am now 29 and my acne is worse than ever. I got off birth control over a year ago as I wanted to get my body ready to start trying to conceive. My face is constantly broken out, it's red, irritated, itchy and it hurts. I've tried countless products such a benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid, beta hydroxy acids, clean and clear, tea tree oil and spectro gel, just to name a few.

c but I wash my face in the shower, keeps it cleaner, then I use a light moisturizer before applying any makeup. Moisturizing after washing prevents excess oils from forming, as well as working as a primer for makeup.

So all of a sudden I have this urge to go shop for makeup what brands u ladies trying out these days to boost ur prego glow. Lancome anyone ??

Yeah I have never had a problem with acne til I was about 6 weeks pregnant and I still get some acne but since I've started washing my face in the morning and at night and not wearing make up it has gotten a lot better. I still get a blemish once in a while but not as bad as it was.

I had awful acne before I got pregnant - it had only just started to clear up before I got pregnant :-( After we conceived, I broke worse than ever before. I started using Mary Kay products: face wash, moisturizer, day/night serums, even my makeup remover (I don't wear makeup very often, though). My face has completely cleared up!! I'm 39+2 and have been acne free since my fifth month or so (when I started with their products).

I use lemon juice every night after i wash my face to get my makeup off. Its like astringent but without the chemicals. I suffered from horrible acne in the first trimester. It helps a lot. I just put it on a cotton ball and apply to my entire face then rinse with warm water.

Now i have used different after shaves and i have shaved with shaving cream and tried bar soap and i get the same issue. My skin is red to dark red in color and will sometimes look like horrible acne or bad rashes caused by poison oak or other irritants. The main area is my neck or under the jaw line. I have pressed hard to shave tryed doing it light and tryed it slow.

Do any of you ladies know any good remedies for pregnancy acne? Mine is getting so bad and it's driving me nuts! I have never struggled with acne in my life and now I am breaking out all over. It's seriously horrible. I wash my face every day and wear all natural mineral makeup, wash all make up off my face before bed too and nothing is helping. Please help! What works for you?

I ordered some stuff made just for pregger mommies that is safe and effective, i ordered it from prettymommies.com. It helped start clearing my acne up and I never had acne before so it was a releif! It didn't make it go away completely but it helped alot!

I have tiny bumps under the skin that never seem to disappear and can't be "popped". I know you should never pop ur pimples but these have been there for months. It started when i was 20 and for the past three years it's gotten progressively worse. When I started using liquid foundations the dumps increased 10X the amount. Now that i'm using more natural products there are less but they itch and are all over my face.

I have never had acne not even as a teen n its not acne now but face does break out here n there all the time now n never did before . In my 1st pregnancy it never happened. I have had these red bumps on the back of my neck and spread down to my upper back since January 2012. They are very itchy and there is no liquid oozing out or if squeezed any debris coming out like with acne. I saw my dermatologist in Febuary to discuss with her and she said it was acne even though I was put on accutane, during that time which cleared up my face nicely.

I had severe acne and it occasionally still flares up. I was so self conscious going to xmas parties that I had my fiancé put concealer and makeup on my back acne. My dr said it was hormones. I kept telling myself that I could be a lot worse (I only had a little nausea my first 9 weeks and no vomiting) and tgat it will pass (someday lol). My dr recommended using a gentle cleanser such as cetaphil and to stay away from high fragrant soaps, etc.

I have never had an acne problem. I get the usual 4 or 5 about a week before AF is due. This month my face broke out with the normal 4 or 5 zits about 2 weeks before AF and then today 6 days after AF arrived. I'm still bleeding and my face is a mess. Yes! I wash my face every day to see if they go away & it won't :( it stinks cause I do not want to wear makeup cause I don't feel like it. But I feel so ugly & it stresses me out. There's 3 that have been there since I was 4 weeks too! It better go away. Good luck.

It might be an allergy to makeup or even your face soap try a different face soap and stop wearing makeup for a while. As for what to put on it try using a clean make up brush and brush on corn starch like the kind you find in the kitchen. If that doesn't help I would ask your mom to take you to an allergist the doctor can test you to find out for sure and can prescribe a cream to put on it.
