Clinique have lauched a new range of products called Redness Solutions. Using their cleanser and moisturiser will reduce visable redness of the face. I also recommend Eucerin's Redness Relief cleanser and moisturiser, which is a bit less expensive.
this time after I got rid of the sty and went MONTHS without wearing make-up, I finally went out and bought new make-up and the very next day of wearing the eye makeup ... I got a sty again!!!! Does anyone know what this could be a result of ... is something other than make-up ... or am I allergic to whatever is in it?

have been on roaccutane for 3 weeks now, I tablet a day, from by derm, cos apparently i have perorial dermititus, after 2 months on doxy and 3 months on minocyline, and my rash (on each side of my mouth) are getting bigger. should i go back on minocycline. And if so, can i take minocycline straight away after stopping roaccutane.
Of course, pores are necessary in various ways but, my problem is that I have to wear make up to fill in my pores because they are so unattractive and, it makes people think--if they can detect that I am wearing makeup--that I am gay or some weirdo. I cannot possibly wake up or before going to sleep sneak off in the dark to put on this clinique product so that a potential girlfriend does not quit on me on account of my unattractive face. And, that is just it.
ve had once about a year ago as well. I have mild to moderate acne on my face. I do get nodular/cystic acne, mostly along the jawline, around my ears. Occasionally I get it on my forehead or chin area. Generally I just use an acne cleanser usually twice per day and deal with it. I wash face twice a day with my normal face wash. Also I use a sulfer face mask by acne free. Lush has good face masks too my favorite is magaminty mask that has a cooling mint feeling.

The two products that I have found helpful for breakouts for myself and others I know are either Proactive or Rodan & Fields Unblemish- I believe either one can be ordered online (you can Google for the web site links)- both seem to give very good results.

oh yeah, I also found that wearing a bit of powder makeup over the area (I used bare minerals and/or clinique powder foundation) for special occasions doesn't bother mine, just gently wash it off as soon as you can b/c it gets extra flaky after a while (gross), so it might be ok for others to wear powder over it too!

Enough to say that I would not go out of the house without makeup. I am now 29 and my acne is worse than ever. I got off birth control over a year ago as I wanted to get my body ready to start trying to conceive. My face is constantly broken out, it's red, irritated, itchy and it hurts. I've tried countless products such a benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid, beta hydroxy acids, clean and clear, tea tree oil and spectro gel, just to name a few.
