I've only been on Accutane (actually, a generic brand of it) for ten days, and I experienced my first migraine on day 9. I am unsure if the migraine could be connected to Accutane, but I did a little research and some instances of migraines have been reported by Accutane users. I am just uncertain because I haven't been on it very long, but I am already experiencing dry lips, so I suppose I could be experiencing other side effects already, too.
after that i had Shaking in my hand (for 3 month then it removed) and bad concentration (i did not know till now why i did not go dr may i was thinking that is not problem ) after 4 year i did a test for thyroid and the result was positive for hypothyroidism , i want to ask if there is connection between the medication (Isotretinoin and accutane) and hypothyroidism and if it reversible
He took a paper with all the visual side effects of Accutane and checked me for everything even threw in a glaucoma exam and tear producing test and said everything was normal. I had not one visual side effect of Accutane other than mild dryness in the eyes, I have no damaged cells in the cornea either (plus optic nerves are 100% fine as well and I am reading at the 20/20 line though blurry a bit) Should I continue or stop?

My neck is always in pain, my back is always stiff and in knots, I cannot run anymore (at least not w/o feeling immense pain), walking up stairs is a constant chore, my night vision is diminished considerably, and my breathing is as if I am horribly out of shape, when in fact I am not. I constantly feel weak and lightheaded. I am in denial about my symptoms when it comes to trying to explain how I feel to other people, because I know they will not understand.

Accutane can cause blurred vision, sudden and severe headache or pain behind your eyes, sometimes with vomiting as part of its side effects associated with eye, but not really a red line in the eye, as you have stated in your post.
If it is part of an allergic reaction then it is possible because conjunctivitis can be caused by an allergic reaction.
Hi, I had been on accutane for almost two months (60 mg a day). In the first month I had some headaches and dizziness but it wasn't a big deal. But, a couple weeks into the second month I started having really, really awful pounding pressuring headaches with really bad eye pain and dizziness. It hurt to move my eyes around and I had some difficulty focusing and changing my focus.

If that is the case, the doctor could have treated it with something other than accutane. How long have you been off accutane and how long have you been treated for depression/anxiety? Was it during the time you were on accutane or once off of it? My gut feeling is that once the accutane is completely out of your system, your depression and anxiety will get back to where they were before.
17 year old daughter having stomach issues, just got a positive test for celiac, has bad acne, derm wants to put her on accutane. I am worried about the accutane and her stomach. Not sure celiac is only cause of stomach aches. Also birth control pill used to control acne, then she went off and it came back worse than ever. I keep seeing black cloud like outlines usually on clear surfaces or the sky vision gets blurry and text on computer fades or its like its melting, the clouds seem to expand and decrease like they are flowing? I have been told im hypothyroid and have blepharitis and also was on accutane a few years ago.

I took Accutane in the fall of 2004 and I experienced severe hair loss. (I'm a girl). My hair came out in handfulls for about 6 months. The large amount of hair that usually falls out after washing or brushing hair was falling out every half an hour if i ran my fingers through my hair. I lost about 60% of my hair. It stopped for a few months and started again for a few months to a lesser degree though. And now, 3.5 years later, it stills falls out more frequently than it should.
3 weeks ago I had my 1st eye infection of my entire life in my right eye so I went to an opthamalogist and he told me to stop taking the accutane for a week (which is what he says caused the infection) and put me on doxyclince hyclate 100mg twice a day and eurithromyocin gel to put on my eyelid that knocked the infection out.
I just got off 2 rounds of accutane and I just went to the doctor yesterday. Both my doctor and I believe that Accutane have made my IBS severely worse. I took Accutane for a while and I didn't even get a choice... it was automatic from my dr. you get a script for accutane you also get the script for birth control. The risks are crazy with that medication.
