Zyrtec with advil

Common Questions and Answers about Zyrtec with advil

zyrtec

Avatar f tn Yes you can take Claritin or Zyrtec and take Tylenol or Advil with it. I wouldn't get the "D" kind just the plain and that should help with your allergies. I hope you feel better soon.
850029 tn?1238857820 ) the only time I feel someone what better is taking Advil Cold and Sinus, the Zyrtec seems to do nothing...... Any advice?
Avatar f tn I am beginning to think it may be my vitamins or my low dose aspirin. I have found it can be controlled with Zyrtec, but I'd like to know what has caused this. I have been taking vitamins for years. Anyone else have this problem?
Avatar f tn My doctor has said that it is allergies but if that is what it is, I need to get on this to solve it. Im going to start on the zyrtec, with the neti pot and flonase tomorrow. Any suggestions whether natural or doctor perscribed worked for anyone else that had this situation? THANKS!
Avatar m tn Next day I started taking Zyrtec. Itch stopped but rash still continued to appear and disappear especially on my neck, arms, and hands. It appears mostly when I finish my shower even though I don't use hot water in shower. I did blood test days ago, I have ALT = 51 which is over the limit (46). Months ago my ALT was 26. I stopped using Zyrtec, and my doctor told me to use Atarax. However, its been a week and the rash is still the same. I am very worried about it. What shall I do?
1394601 tn?1328032308 I began taking my Rebif shots without taking Advil in advance. Am I playing with fire?
Avatar f tn advil is a minor anti inflammatory I have never heard of it prescribed for this before but it could help a little I suppose more widely prescribed for GM are some of the big anti inflammatories - particularly prednisone or methotrexate I did take Naproxen for some time, (months at a pretty high dose - it really attacks your stomach lining though so I went off), which I guess is a step up from advil, and is a non steroidal anti inflammatory (NSAID), can't say if it helped with the inflamma
Avatar n tn He has done quite well with Allegra for seasonal allergies, and even better with Zyrtec. Zyrtec is OTC but allegra is not. Both are well tolerated with Risperdal. Benaadryl is not good with Risperdal. My son, age 17, is zonked out when he takes both. He basically is out like a light and doesn't wake up in the morning (until about 12 hours later) the few times he has taken it. Not good at all. Claritin does not work for him either, nor anyone in my family.
Avatar n tn Earlier I Was In Extreme Pain Due To A Tooth Ache I Took Advil Because I Tried Tylenol Earlier In The Day && It Did Nothing Could Me Taking Advil Hurt My Baby I'm 28 Weeks Already!
Avatar f tn Danie i agree with you!! I don't like Tylenol. It doesn't work for me at all. Advil does the job.
Avatar f tn Now the symptoms are milder in the same locations and the numbing is primarily on toes and fingers. Taking benadryl, pepcid, zyrtec and advil. Have seen my primary and allergist. Have an appointment with a neurologist, the wait is long. Is it realistic to think the burning, needle pricking and numbing will totally go away with time? I'm in the process of three spinal steroid injections in my back and it seems that the shots increases the intensity of these symptoms. Is that possible?
850029 tn?1238857820 s been treating it with antihistamines (Zyrtec) and a nasal spray. I do nasal rinses and have try to eliminate as many allergens as possible. I have no fragrance in my house, clean often etc........ I live in Minnesota and we have yet to get to the "spring time" allergies. Luckily I'm not allergic to mold so the wet ground after the snow melting doesn't bother me. I've continued to be stuffed up and have sinus pressure.
Avatar n tn However the itching / hives continued until he started me on Zyrtec. I did find relief with that. He referred me to a Allergy MD and after some testing, he has diagnosed me with Dermatographism/Uticaria. The treatment plan is Zyrtec and Allegra. He called me today with some blood results and states that I had a + Antithyroid Peroxidase (sp?) result. He was not surprised by the result since I do have a thyroid problem history.
Avatar n tn My allergist has not prescibed cortisone because it is only a short term solution and the hives usually come back with a vengence. I am presently controlling my Hives with 10 mg of Zyrtec and then 50 mg of Benadryl, both taken at night. Here is a list of potenial hive aggravating foods and medications: beer, berries, chocolate, citrus, nuts, shellfish, tomatoes, wine. Medications: Aspirin, Non-steroidal/ antiinflammatory drugs (such as Alleve, Advil, etc), and codeine preparations.
Avatar n tn has zyrtec been banned,i cant find it anywhere,if it has been banned then wot was the reason?
Avatar f tn I also take my Zyrtec at that time. I just started the probiotics and was taking them with breakfast but have read that they should be on an empty stomach. That's my only real empty stomach time because of all my other stuff so now I'm concerned about them interacting with my thyroid meds. Anyone?
7945295 tn?1397658820 My doc okayed zyrtec with my last pregnancy and with my current pregnancy
Avatar f tn I got the ok on zyrtec during pregnancy from my allergist, OB, and pharmacist. I am positive that zyrtec is ok.
Avatar m tn I took zyrtec around 8:00 PM and my allergies are really bad so i wanted to know if it is safe to take Allegra now
Avatar f tn I was told to take zyrtec. Now I have a rash on my upper thighs. Is it the generic zyrtec? Would the regular Zyrtec do the same? Have you ever heard of Diamox being prescribed for Meneire's disease? I find nothing in the literature about it and am hesitant to take it as it makes me very tired. I need to sleep about 3 hours a day when I take it. I don't want to experience vertigo again.
460830 tn?1347219306 ), but I never have had any problem with taking a normal dose of Zyrtec...if I go ahead and take a Zyrtec, and it turns out that I did already take one, would it do any harm?
1742269 tn?1315381633 Can anyone tell me what the difference is between Advil or Ibprofen compared to the Advil Migraine? From what ive seen, its basically the same thing, except the label says Migraine.
Avatar f tn I recently took advil today and yesterday thinking it was Tylenol. I just realised it was advil. I read a bunch online after finding out. They said small does are okay and as long as its before 32 weeks. Has anyone else had this happen or have any information they can help me with? I'm freaked out something is going to happen to my baby.
Avatar f tn Just wanted to let you know that you are NOT alone. I tried taking him off Zyrtec and that just made him miserable with his allergies. If you have any new news, please let me know!
