Yes you can take Claritin or Zyrtec and take Tylenol or Advil with it. I wouldn't get the "D" kind just the plain and that should help with your allergies. I hope you feel better soon.

Next day I started taking Zyrtec. Itch stopped but rash still continued to appear and disappear especially on my neck, arms, and hands. advil is a minor anti inflammatory I have never heard of it prescribed for this before but it could help a little I suppose more widely prescribed for GM are some of the big anti inflammatories - particularly prednisone or methotrexate I did take Naproxen for some time, (months at a pretty high dose - it really attacks your stomach lining though so I went off), which I guess is a step up from advil, and is a non steroidal anti inflammatory (NSAID), can't say if it helped with the inflamma

He has done quite well with Allegra for seasonal allergies, and even better with Zyrtec. Zyrtec is OTC but allegra is not. Both are well tolerated with Risperdal. Benaadryl is not good with Risperdal. My son, age 17, is zonked out when he takes both. He basically is out like a light and doesn't wake up in the morning (until about 12 hours later) the few times he has taken it. Not good at all. Claritin does not work for him either, nor anyone in my family.

Danie i agree with you!! I don't like Tylenol. It doesn't work for me at all. Advil does the job.

Now the symptoms are milder in the same locations and the numbing is primarily on toes and fingers. Taking benadryl, pepcid, zyrtec and advil. Have seen my primary and allergist. Have an appointment with a neurologist, the wait is long. Is it realistic to think the burning, needle pricking and numbing will totally go away with time? I'm in the process of three spinal steroid injections in my back and it seems that the shots increases the intensity of these symptoms. Is that possible?

s been treating it with antihistamines (Zyrtec) and a nasal spray. I do nasal rinses and have try to eliminate as many allergens as possible. I have no fragrance in my house, clean often etc........ I live in Minnesota and we have yet to get to the "spring time" allergies. Luckily I'm not allergic to mold so the wet ground after the snow melting doesn't bother me. I also take my Zyrtec at that time. I just started the probiotics and was taking them with breakfast but have read that they should be on an empty stomach. That's my only real empty stomach time because of all my other stuff so now I'm concerned about them interacting with my thyroid meds. Anyone?

I recently took advil today and yesterday thinking it was Tylenol. I just realised it was advil. I read a bunch online after finding out. They said small does are okay and as long as its before 32 weeks. Has anyone else had this happen or have any information they can help me with?
