Common Questions and Answers about Vomiting green poop
It was like a dark green though. I haven't eaten much greens recently. And I don't normally have greenpoop, so I was wondering if this is normal. Cause I've read that this could be something serious.
I keep having hot flashes too but is it all linked to my period? I do have ovarian cysts and I don't think it ruptured this month so maybe I have too many hormones? I don't know, can I have anyone's opinion on it?
Today my 1 year son had a "BRIGHT LIME-GREEN" poop, that smelled like gutted fish!!!
(Is this normal...stunk up the entire house???)
My Wife & I were pretty much in a frenzy over this, considering he has never had a "BM" this extreme. Needless to say we took him to our local "small-town" doctor & basically said it was nothing to worry about.
I find this very hard to believe...
See, bunny poop is one of my dog's favourite things to find! I have a bichon/shih tzu mix, but I also have 5 bunnies. It's definitely a normal behaviour for dogs. We highly discourage it because quite frankly, we find it disgusting, even though as ginger899 pointed out, its just grass and other plantes (in our case, hay and pellets).
I don't see it as being a health problem. As long as your dog is routinely checked by the vet.
Well, it's June now and I still suffer from these horrible, painful episodes of vomitinggreen salty nasty bile. AND Now, I'm having trouble pooping, which is real lovely cause I've never had this problem before. Either I run for days, nice and bright green or I'll be constipated going on now 4 days, and after giving myself a Fleets Enima I get this pale colored floaty. I had bloodwork done last week and I'm taking it to my G.I. on Monday.
What does having a score of 1.
Subsequent vomiting was primarily dry-heaves which turned to vomiting of yellow/green bile by around 5 am. Every time he vomited you could see his stomach really tighten up. At around 5 am he had a couple of episodes of diarrhea that was very runny. The diarrhea also continued the next day as well. After he started the diarrhea the vomiting seemed to subside which is typical of the previous episodes.
The vomiting followed by diarrhea seems to be a pattern.
My son had very greenpoop when he was getting too much fore milk and not enough hind milk. I was advised not to automatically switch sides during a feeding but rather put baby back to the first breast to make sure he drew out all the hind milk and empty the breast. If he was then still fussy and hungry I would offer the second side. With in a couple of days his poop was a mustard colour.
ive been sick many a time and had to throw up/poop at the same time, dont worry about it,,,food is flushing through your syatem as it tries to releave itself of the flu,,,your body purges itself to get out the bad,,,out both openings!!!,,dont worry.

Moochy is 3 years old and started vomiting a week ago. She coughed up two big hairballs in that time and wouldn't eat. I took her to the vet on the third day. The vet kept her for five days, did every test available and confirmed she has slight bilirubin and a very low white blood count but he couldn't find any cause. She doesn't have feline HIV or leukemia. He gave her broad spectrum antiobiotics and gave me some to give her now she's back home.
Did you have your cats kidney funciton checked? he vomiting could be kidney related. In this case you d need an acid protector, or green ventilated clay ( 1 tsp diluted in water daily).
Hope your kitty feels better. Try to make her move more, exercise is good for everything, esp at an advanced age, including tha prevention of constipation...
Best of luck!
He is (was) a healthy 81 year old and now he can't seem to get his bowels to get moving again. He did poop yesterday and this morning, but the nurse says the volume of "stuff" in his stomach indicates that his intestines are not processing things appropriately. Anybody have any experience with this situation?
old who has had diarrhea, mucus, in stool for wks, then stopped temporarily, started again.
Very foul smell, mostly green in color, mucus and now a fever. This has gone on for 1 1/2 mos. We stopped milk just in case, that didn't help. She is on gatorade, bland diet, and in between this had a sinus infection and took amoxicillin for 10days. Her fever went up to 102.9 is coming down with motrin/tylenol in between. Stool was tested for parasites.

I refer to the Drying Beds as AMWAY Poop. Condensed Poop to the 15th Power and they did sell it to be used for Fertilizer. I’ve seen some of most beautiful Tomato, Cucumber, Watermelon, and Cantaloupe growing out of them. I’m not even going to mention the things laying beside them and hanging from some of them. There was an operator that claimed he had been eating them for years (not sure if he was pulling my leg or not).
When I read the OP, HAV was the first thing that came to mind.
Wisegirl-- Icky greenpoop can be the iron in it. Cody poops green from the iron. Check the can, with her troubles it may be an allergy? I know when I switched formulas with no iron it was browny yellowish.
Hopefully the switch will make her feel better
Is she just on formula now??

The symptoms i am NOT experience are nausea, vomiting, diarhea (although the last two stools i have had have been softer), weakness or fatigue, weight loss or weight gain no blood in my stool and no fever. Just the bloated full feeling and sometimes acidic feeling and the white pieces in my stool. Sometimes there are more white objects sometimes less, sometimes more faded. My stool is in itself not white, just pieces of things in it.
1 day it was solid, complete, but yellowish green in color. No fever or chills...No Nasuea or Vomiting... Should I stick with this being IBS and change my diet? Should I be taking the immodium, or let it come out? Could it be Chrons or Colitis? Do I need to go again to the doctor for him to tell me that it is IBS, nothing is wrong??? It's disabilitating!!! Thank You!!
The latter is common in males and can be fatal. Immediate veterinary care is critical.
Vomiting - vomiting several times within the hour, especially if blood appears in the vomitus, the cat is lethargic, or refuses to eat. Possible causes include ingestion of a foreign object, liver and kidney disease, gastrointestinal problems, and poisoning.
Diarrhea - diarrhea is a symptom of many conditions or diseases.
He pees normally, and he does not poop unless he eats, but his poop is normal when he does.
I know he will hate the thermometer experience, so I will try adding chicken stock to the food first. He ate some food today, so I will wait a day or two until I try the chicken stock idea. Hopefully taking his temperature and taking him to the vet won't be necessary!
Thank you again for all your help and concern!
