Common Questions and Answers about Vomiting green poop
It was like a dark green though. I haven't eaten much greens recently. And I don't normally have greenpoop, so I was wondering if this is normal. Cause I've read that this could be something serious.
I keep having hot flashes too but is it all linked to my period? I do have ovarian cysts and I don't think it ruptured this month so maybe I have too many hormones? I don't know, can I have anyone's opinion on it?
Today my 1 year son had a "BRIGHT LIME-GREEN" poop, that smelled like gutted fish!!!
(Is this normal...stunk up the entire house???)
My Wife & I were pretty much in a frenzy over this, considering he has never had a "BM" this extreme. Needless to say we took him to our local "small-town" doctor & basically said it was nothing to worry about.
I find this very hard to believe...
See, bunny poop is one of my dog's favourite things to find! I have a bichon/shih tzu mix, but I also have 5 bunnies. It's definitely a normal behaviour for dogs. We highly discourage it because quite frankly, we find it disgusting, even though as ginger899 pointed out, its just grass and other plantes (in our case, hay and pellets).
I don't see it as being a health problem. As long as your dog is routinely checked by the vet.
Well, it's June now and I still suffer from these horrible, painful episodes of vomitinggreen salty nasty bile. AND Now, I'm having trouble pooping, which is real lovely cause I've never had this problem before. Either I run for days, nice and bright green or I'll be constipated going on now 4 days, and after giving myself a Fleets Enima I get this pale colored floaty. I had bloodwork done last week and I'm taking it to my G.I. on Monday.
What does having a score of 1.
Subsequent vomiting was primarily dry-heaves which turned to vomiting of yellow/green bile by around 5 am. Every time he vomited you could see his stomach really tighten up. At around 5 am he had a couple of episodes of diarrhea that was very runny. The diarrhea also continued the next day as well. After he started the diarrhea the vomiting seemed to subside which is typical of the previous episodes.
The vomiting followed by diarrhea seems to be a pattern.
My son had very greenpoop when he was getting too much fore milk and not enough hind milk. I was advised not to automatically switch sides during a feeding but rather put baby back to the first breast to make sure he drew out all the hind milk and empty the breast. If he was then still fussy and hungry I would offer the second side. With in a couple of days his poop was a mustard colour.
long story short. i smell like poop all of the time. i bathe twice a day sometimes in bleach water. the last three weeks my stomach is bubbly and i feel like it's diarreah but when i go to the bathroom nothing comes out. and i vomitt very bitter greenish/yellowish stuff. i am always surrounded by flies or nets or some other insect. i have lost a husband, two jobs and was told that i need to get this taken care of before i come back to church. i have had my colon checked.
ive been sick many a time and had to throw up/poop at the same time, dont worry about it,,,food is flushing through your syatem as it tries to releave itself of the flu,,,your body purges itself to get out the bad,,,out both openings!!!,,dont worry.
Gave her a bath, she calmed down chnaged into jammies then vomited again in my bed! she kept vomiting until it was all green bile! I rushed her to the er. The doc looked at her vomit (i brought the bucket) he said bile was normal. He gave a drug caled Zofran used for nausea and vomiting in cancer patients. Well it worked, she was jumping up and down on her hospital bed. Weds she was fina all day back to herself, thursday morning she was fine too. I put her to bed and bam she vomits again!!
Since then (four days), I've had continual diarrhea in a green-ish color and couldn't keep food or liquids down. No really tummy ache or urgency, just when I do decide to go it is liquid and bright yellowish green rather than a normal solid poop.
It's worth noting that someone else in my group who never gets sick also was vomiting the next day, so perhaps it was a stomach bug or we ate something. He seems to have recovered fine, though.
Moochy is 3 years old and started vomiting a week ago. She coughed up two big hairballs in that time and wouldn't eat. I took her to the vet on the third day. The vet kept her for five days, did every test available and confirmed she has slight bilirubin and a very low white blood count but he couldn't find any cause. She doesn't have feline HIV or leukemia. He gave her broad spectrum antiobiotics and gave me some to give her now she's back home.
The past 3 days my sons (17months old) poop has been blackish with shade of green. It looks like tar and like spinach that's been digested he does have regular color sometimes...I hear black poop means internal bleeding. Also I don't feed him ANYTHING that would give him this type of poop and I am POSITIVE it can't be anything he eats. He is active, no vomiting, no fever. He's is as happy and playful as can be. I'm just a little worried, any already moms had this with there children ??

Did you have your cats kidney funciton checked? he vomiting could be kidney related. In this case you d need an acid protector, or green ventilated clay ( 1 tsp diluted in water daily).
Hope your kitty feels better. Try to make her move more, exercise is good for everything, esp at an advanced age, including tha prevention of constipation...
Best of luck!
He is (was) a healthy 81 year old and now he can't seem to get his bowels to get moving again. He did poop yesterday and this morning, but the nurse says the volume of "stuff" in his stomach indicates that his intestines are not processing things appropriately. Anybody have any experience with this situation?
old who has had diarrhea, mucus, in stool for wks, then stopped temporarily, started again.
Very foul smell, mostly green in color, mucus and now a fever. This has gone on for 1 1/2 mos. We stopped milk just in case, that didn't help. She is on gatorade, bland diet, and in between this had a sinus infection and took amoxicillin for 10days. Her fever went up to 102.9 is coming down with motrin/tylenol in between. Stool was tested for parasites.
Ive been sitting here for hours just drinking tons of water, no more vomiting but poop is still like water and a new development is I keep smelling poop and im no where near the bathroom. I go back to the hospital tomorrow for an ultrasound on my neck because I have a growth on my thyroid that they are monitooring......idk if its related but periods are messed up too, im off one week, spot for 1 and a half, and on for 1 and a half for three months now.
I refer to the Drying Beds as AMWAY Poop. Condensed Poop to the 15th Power and they did sell it to be used for Fertilizer. I’ve seen some of most beautiful Tomato, Cucumber, Watermelon, and Cantaloupe growing out of them. I’m not even going to mention the things laying beside them and hanging from some of them. There was an operator that claimed he had been eating them for years (not sure if he was pulling my leg or not).
When I read the OP, HAV was the first thing that came to mind.
Wisegirl-- Icky greenpoop can be the iron in it. Cody poops green from the iron. Check the can, with her troubles it may be an allergy? I know when I switched formulas with no iron it was browny yellowish.
Hopefully the switch will make her feel better
Is she just on formula now??
