swollen

Alright, I know I don't have any mouth infections, I honestly can't remember the last time I had a cold or cough, and I did for forget to mention that my left lympnode in my neck is slightly swollen along with my largely swollen left tonsil. I just want to bawl my eyes out I'm so frustrated.
You may be feeling your uvula when you swallow rather than your tonsil, which should be out of the way at the side there. Tonsil removal is not an exact science and often a little tonsular tissue can be left behind after surgery which can indeed grow back. My daughter has monster tonsils which look to me like they almost join up with the uvula in the middle but she doesn't feel them when swallowing because they have been huge all her life. The doctor said they are normal sized(!!
com/photos/94581331@N03/8613050482/lightbox/ *** it's the lump on the right and a longer lump is growing past the tongue into the throat *** So I think I have HPV in my tonsils as I have fleshy bumps - not actually growing on my tonsils - but it's just like a part of my tonsil is swollen. I don't know if its a HPV wart - but if it was cancer due to HPV would warts show or not ? Also what's the chances of being a carrier of HPV if I have had my vaccination before being sexually active ?
I have just had a throat infection. One tonsil was more swollen than the other and my GP put me on anti biotics. I have finished these just over two weeks but I noticed I do have a swollen epiglottis. Its very enlarged and red and it too is touching the back of my tongue and making me feel like I have something in my throat. I cough during the night and my hubby has said I am snoring!. I have checked on web sites and it sounds like it is epiglottitis.
For the past several months, I've had what appears to be slightly enlarged left tonsil, and some bumps behind the tonsil on the pharyngeal wall. I was hoping its just lympathic tissue, as I also have raised/reddish lingual tonsils on both sides of my tongue, but Im a bnit worried. The tonsil looks a bit puffy, and it has some white streaks on the top of it, like small white scratches.
something that looks like a cyst covered with blood vessels, several rice-like white bumps, holes in my tonsil, a wavy elongated white patch, and a large pink fingerlike growth poking out from behind my tongue. The tonsil itself is enlarged, not huge, but definitely swollen. The growths don't bother me, but I can feel them all the time, whether swallowing or not. Sometimes they feel slightly irritated. I was a light smoker in the past, but quit 9 years ago.
Hello, Ever seance i was little i always had tonsil problems. My tonsils have always been abnormally huge and i would go to my doctor and they say there just swollen because I'm sick but i tell them there always like this regardless if i feel sick or not. They always check for strep but it always shows up negative. Around a year ago i felt horribly sick and i went to a new doctor because mine was off. They tested me for mono and i had it.
My dilemma is that for the previous 2 or 3 years, I have had an enlarged right tonsil. Both of my tonsils are swollen, but the right is much worse than the left. As long as I can remember, I have had chronc head and throat problems. I had multiple ear infections (always in the right ear) and my ear drum busted twice as a grade schooler. Since my early teen years, I have had chronic sore throats and it usually seemed to be the most red and inflamed on the right side.
Six days following exposure, I had a mild sore throat with a little bit of swollen tonsils and inflammation. Then about 4 weeks after, I had some white spots on my tonsils which I poked at and irritated further, causing a painful canker sore on one of them which resolved in a few days. Following all this, the back of my throat and tonsils have continuously been red and inflamed.
For the past couple of weeks, I've been swallowing a LOT, due to the fact that I've had a mucusey feeling all along my throat, and I thought I might be getting a sore throat but when I eat and drink it seems normal, but when I talk it feels really sore and sometimes I can't even talk loudly, I think I'm losing my voice.
I have had a sore throat that is red around the tonsil pillars? in front of the tonsils and a little to the roof and back tongue. It feels dry, and Im not sure if i had it before the encounter or not as i do sleep with my mouth open. He said he was std free, but who knows. The sore throat has never gone into where its hard to eat or swallow or drink fluids. I have since that day been able to eat and drink anything. some days its a little worse, but mostly just a dry feeling.
http://sdrv.ms/W8lGot Since my ex did give me HPV and although there were no phsyical warts or signs on his body could he have given me the virus or something worse in my throat? I do know my ex had staph at one point as well but not sure if that would affect me. Thank you for your time and I really hope to find someone that has been in my shoes and might know what this is.
Also I would like to compare my symptoms with the ones others have, to understand if the problem can really extends up to the eyes or not. 3) Any doctor here who can take a look at the pictures I posted in my profile and give some advise if surgery is the only option? Is there any new technique to threat the problem? I live in Italy and there seems to be no great experience in such cases, so I want to have also another opinion.
As maolaping has said, while I will not look at the picture you have posted (it is very hard to tell anything from pictures,) I am confident that your rash is not due to HIV. As we have said on this Forum more times than I can count, HIV is not spread with any meaningful frequency through oral sex. Your laboratory data confirm this. If your rash had been due to HIV, your PCR taken any time after the appearance of the rash would have been positive.
Never pus or mucous or anything colored. If I tear the top of to drain it it sometimes bleeds slightly. I have high quality pictures I took today if you would like to see the pictures.
My sister and her husband is here though. Can't get into Vets until the 9th. They are so independent! Well, from your pictures your neck looks a little swollen in the center. But the issue is whether the bump goes up and down while swallowing. The thyroid is just under the Adam's apple lower down the neck. Occasionally a thyroid nodule can be found through a CT and MRI.
After having no effect he advised an x-ray which showed anterior group of paranasal sinus is clear and swollen turbinates.Again got treated with anti antibiotics, anti inflammatory and others. After having no effect doctor performed a turbinate reduction surgery to correct turbinates. There was no improvement after surgery. The xray after surgey showed anterior group of paranasal sinus is clear.
So it's possible the food particles are becoming lodged in the thick mucous lining my throat, but I am really concerned that some type of pocket may have formed in my throat just below my tongue that is catching the food particles and along with mucous, saliva and bacteria is now forming tonsil stones, since I have discovered pin-head sized tonsil stones in the mucous before when I pushed it up out my throat.
first some antibiotic pills, then some different type because the 1st upset my digestion. Then a shot because i still felt a lump sore throat feeling. And a swollen tonsil on the left side of my head. Im awaiting the second viral swab results. As for my lip i also meant to say it hasnt changed color at all.
im a little worried its related to my swollen tonsil.. here is a link to an online album showing pics of it... what do you think I have included a pic of my swollen tonsil and my slightly discolored finger joints. http://imgur.
com/albums/hh500/anderson12341/ password dermatology I know it's not your policy to look at pictures but just in case. The pictures were taken few hours after I noticed the rash. I don't have the pictures with the ulcerations up. But as I said, today it is already clearing up.
In looking in my throat, saw white gunk within tonsil crypt. Covered by a clear, glue like substance. My ears began plugging. In taking Afrin, blew out a-lot of orangish flecks. Helped my ears. Cont...
- now it just feel like bubbles coming up and I don't have control of it. I have to stick my finger almost down my throat as my Epiglottis becomes very swollen during the day (long story, but I have a thickened muscle due to GERD damage) and I don't gagg or feel like vomiting or anything. I am so used to doing it now as I have had these ENT symptoms for more than 3 years now. I don't think you should be conserned about the loss of the "gagg" reflex.
My tongue is somewhat sore also and I have a swollen lingual tonsil (according to my dentist) which is the tonsil on the back of your tongue, not the typical tonsil people think of. The doctor gave me oral anti-fungals which did nothing. It burns and the tip hurts a little. I went to the ENT who said "What's the problem?" I told him and he kept saying, "What else. What else.
Yesterday i went to the hospital because i thought the glands in my neck were swollen, and i was convinced that my airway was going to constrict so i couldnt breathe. I examine my neck all the time and im convinced that its swollen even though no one else can see it. I measure it on a daily basis. Im convinced that my airways are going to swell shut and i wont be able to breathe. Im sure once i get over this i'll have another problem, my husband is at his wits end with me and so is my mom.
The back ends of my hyoid and the whole surrounding area, from rock-hard swollen lymph nodes through to the scars where my tonsils were removed at age six, have been sore forever. Not suddenly and dramatically like you describe, just a constant aching that varies as I move my head. For me there is no "back in place". I can put my hand to my throat and grab my hyoid between thumb and forefinger at any time, and feel both back ends right under the skin.
This month my bbs got MORE swollen and tender! I am nauseated at different times throughout the day. I am constipated (which I am always the opposite before AF shows). I have heartburn. I have bloody noses. I am having some cramping, but it goes away (menstrual are typically constant and they feel a bit different than these do). Last night, I was CONVINCED that there was NO way it couldn't be positive this morning!
Going walking now...going to think of Kermits A** turning BLUE! (ha) ;o) I hope it gives me the tonsil laugh!
Family thinks I'm hypochondriac doctor won't even give me t3's for the pain my throat is always swollen on one side. Done the gammit of allergy tests, ear docs, eye problems-floaters, ear aches from hell neck and jaw swollen all the time, headaches. reading all of these pages has actually given me some relief! I asked my doctor about the relationship of my ear face and neck pain and he says he's never heard of the relationship between bad teeth and all these symptoms.
for the past week or so I have had sporadic runny nose / sneezing (bouts last about a half hour, much like allergic reaction) and my right tonsil has been a bit sore and firm. I am breastfeeding and my baby likes to touch my lips while nursing. Sometimes baby has a rough or jagged fingernail; I think baby may have irritated my skin and maybe introduced an infection. My sleeping is irregular but I usually get at least 6 hours per night.
