stomach pains pregnancy second trimester

i'm just wondering if there is anybody else out there getting the same stomach pains as me, i'm 14weeks pregnant and have not yet been for my 1st scan and i'm getting really awful pains in my stomach it doesn't happen all the time but when it does i know about it. if any body's got any info or advice that would be great.

For me, it was!! I'm 28 weeks today & have been feeling 3rd trimester symptoms I'm the last week. The second trimester is full of cool new experiences & fewer pains. I got over morning sickness, wanted to eat, craved foods, really started feeling the baby, didn't really have any aches or pains, felt much more energetic, family could begin to feel her, & it was cool to watch my belly grow before it got big & bulky. If it worries you more, just ask your doctor. :) it went away for me about the end of first trimester beginning of second. Now I'm nineteen weeks and only thing killing me is how much I gotta pee and my nipples hurting!

Lol things can be very scary your first time , I had the stomach muscles all the time like when I stood up . But this pregnancy I get Charlie horses almost every night !

I had been to my doc yesterday n she told me told expect pains in 2nd trimester coz the baby is growing rapidly and so is the stomach. This is my first. ... I too feel pulling sensations all over my stomach now.

So I have made it to the second trimester the so called "honeymoon stage". How far into the second trimester does it take to consider it the "Honeymoon" I am still running to the bathroom every 15 minutes. The neausae has actually gotten worse this last week. When I try to eat meat I want to puke. I'm on an antibiotic so that doesn't help with the neausea. My prenatals kill my stomach. I am always eating!

Sounds like you may be experiencing round ligament pains. It happens when you are in your second trimester. Your uterus is supported by thick bands of ligaments that run from the groin up the side of the abdomen. As your uterus grows (and grows and grows!) the supporting ligaments stretch and thin out to accommodate the increasing weight. This weight pulls on the ligaments, causing sharp pains and/or dull aches in the lower abdomen.

Try maybe a heating pad this pregnancy im in so much pain from my stomach to my back to my pelvis everywhere im hurting so bad and they say its because i never healed after my 1st baby since im back to back pregnant but omgness i cant wait to have him out of me lol

Hello girls, I finally heard my babies heart beats last week. It was amazing that I heart both of them. They are so strong. I almost cried at the doctor's office. My babies are both doing very well according to the u/s. Thank God. I also start to feel better and better each day, someday I feel I am back to normal and almost like I am not pregnant. Hi, I'm due August 15th with my second child and during my first pregnancy I never had this problem so I'm a little worried. Last night I woke up because I was having really bad stomach pains and it lasted about 20mins and I passed back out. Now that I'm awake I am feeling very nauseous, should I call my doctor and be so worried? Thank you.

I found the physical discomforts tended to subside around the second trimester, and it got somewhat less stressful when I reached the point were the babies moved regularly and I could feel it. But honestly, it was never easy. The good news is that when the baby is finally here, the feeling of relief and joy is indescribable. Good luck to you, and hang in there!

This is my second pregnancy but my first pregnancy I never got passed 20 weeks. So everything in the 3rd trimester is new to me and a little scary. I am going to be 31 weeks tomorrow and this morning I woke up with strong period type cramps in my lower back as well as my stomach tightening (most the bottom half of stomach). Sometimes pregnancy can trigger IBS symptoms. Trust me, I spent most of my 1st trimester freaking out, thinking I was going to lose my baby. But it is just the IBS flaring up because of the hormones. I mean, I would wake up in the middle of the night with brutal cramps, thinking I was having a miscarriage, and it ended up being the other, thank God. Tell your doctor about it. Mine was not concerned at all. Just make sure you are drinking lots of fluids.

Well this is my second child I've been pregnant with. I'm 18 weeks and I'm having a familiar mild pains I recognize when I was in my last trimester the first time. It's like I'm getting ready for delivery or something. Idk if this is normal with second time mothers. It's like a pelvic ache.

Its very VERY normal. During the second trimester they call it the honey moon phase since you don't really have that many things going on. I didn't start showing with my first pregnancy until about 6 months along so not showing this early isn't abnormal at all. Also headaches are normal because of all the hormonal changes going on it your body. Congrats on your pregnancy!

Had to get up to puke, now I feel light headed and still really nauseous. I thought the second trimester was suppose to be easier :( oh well.
