I am in my first trimester at 7w 1d and have been experiencing some side pain and stomach/abdominal cramping similar to menstrual cramps. This is my second pregnancy. I didnt have anything but a little nausea with my first so these symptoms are a bit new to me. Is this to be expected and for ahout how long?

I had that happen when I was in my first trimester. I would just snack on cheeze-its, teddy grams, jello, pudding. A little bit of something is better than nothing. Snacking was very helpful fof me.

It's not uncommon for women to experience indigestion and heartburn more often when pregnant, so you make be having an episode of this. If you feel nauseated, that is also a very common symptom of pregnancy.

This is my first pregnancy, 9 wks and having the most horrible time with morning sickness, I feel sick 24/7. And have a loss in appetite, which scares me bc I know I need to eat health, I don't want to eat meats, I crave salads, but just the though of eating meat eww! Any suggestions?

m almost five months and have only gained seven. Is because of all the morning sickness I had during the first trimester.

Sometimes pregnancy can trigger IBS symptoms. Trust me, I spent most of my 1st trimester freaking out, thinking I was going to lose my baby. But it is just the IBS flaring up because of the hormones. I mean, I would wake up in the middle of the night with brutal cramps, thinking I was having a miscarriage, and it ended up being the other, thank God. Tell your doctor about it. Mine was not concerned at all. Just make sure you are drinking lots of fluids.

This is my first pregnancy were I havent miscarried...im 10 weeks 3 days buy I have headaches everyday so I take tylenol pm everynight...but I wake up throwing up acid yellow stuff and everytime I eat I get sick today my stomach hurts and I have a headache and feel beyond terrible I also didnt sleep last night at all...but today ive been taking baths every 3 hours and still feel sick...im wondering if j couldve.miscarried I have missed my second period so no bleeding.

It was waking me out of dead sleep, on more than one occasion. In my first pregnancy, I had next to NO symptoms, no morning sickness, no nausea, no cravings, nothing! I had a baby boy. This time I am overly tired (could be that I have a 9 month old to take care of!!!) nauseated all the time, irritated beyond belief, moody and really hungry too. I don't get it! I know each pregnancy is completely different, but this one is TOTALLY different!

I felt that type of pain once I hit my second trimester. I could barely walk to the bathroom at night. Do you sleep with pillows in between your legs? That might help. Have you told your Dr about it?

Can you be more specific about the pain? During my first trimester I had really bad cramping. But it's because the ligaments are stretching and your uterus is expanding. But if you ever have any questions or are concerned about it, I'd call your doctor. Good luck!

Hello all, I was just wandering who all was in their first trimester of pregnancy. I have 3 weeks left before 2nd tri. Due Oct 24th and am feeling great. Just hungry all of the time!!!! Have any of you gained wt or are showing yet???? This is my second preg. and I think I have already gained a couple pounds. I also have a small little pouch which is probably from eating!!! LOL. Reading other peoples posts on here kinda give you and idea what to expect. First trimester is usually nauseated, tired, and nothing sounds appetizing but you don't actually have to gain weight. Don't worry if you don't have morning sickness but tired is very normal. Second trimester says it all gets better but for me it was better over time. Cramping is normal but bleeding is something you should ask a doctor if it happens.
