Avatar n tn ME TOO.. I am 25 year old female... and I don't want to stop running, I've been having pain like this for years. I had to stop running because if I run my stomach hurts for the entire day and sometimes it lasts two days... It just keeps getting worse...
Avatar m tn I have been getting a pain in my upper right abdominal area while running. The pain occurs about 15-20 minutes into my run (like clockwork). It is sort of a cramp-like pain underneath my ribcage on the right side. I have had pain in this area for many years while running off and on. (I thought it was side stitches) The problem is that it is getting worse and I can't make it go away anymore.
Avatar n tn Any workout should be started with a slow warm-up for four to five minutes, followed a very gradual increase in speed. While running, one should take deep breaths. If pain actually starts, stretching, massaging, taking deep breaths may be tried. Ref: http://sportsmedicine.about.com/cs/injuries/a/aa053100a.htm http://www.rice.edu/~jenky/sports/abd.pain.
Avatar f tn When ever I begin to run for just a few minutes, i begin to get this lower abdominal pain on the left side. It feels like something is moving and it hurts extremley badly and i have to stop running. I stop and sit down for a few minutes and let it go away. But it comes back right when i start running again. I can never run anymore because every time i get this pain. Any other exercise is fine and doesn't cause the pain. Just running causes it, and even running in place.
Avatar f tn I did some exams, stress test, 24h holter, echocardiogram, ECG (bradycardia), and they all checked normal, but I this week I started running again, I went for a 10k run 2 days ago, everything checked ok, while this morning I was running while my wife was ridding her bike, I had done like just 3k when suddenly there was the hit on the chest, the lack of air, and some dizziness, but mutch more weaker than the previous experience...

Avatar f tn For years, I have experienced intense pain in my jaw while exercising. It used to be bearable, so I ignored it. Now, however, it is hitting me earlier (maybe 5-10 minutes after I start exercising) and the pain is also very intense. I stopped exercising to make it go away - also making it easy to ignore - but yesterday I had to run for the train (maybe 5 minutes of running) - and it was some of the most excrutiating pain I have ever felt. So, it seems to be getting worse over time.
Avatar m tn It could be a lot of things. While I think the pain is too low for Gall Bladder problems and Kidney stones, I guess those are possible. You could also have gastrointestinal issues where you should see a specialist and ask them about it. I agree it could be stool buildup or a tear in you intestines. If you don't mind me asking are you gay? If so I might stop having intercourse for a while to see if your symptoms improve.
Avatar f tn I am 21 and i am not the fittest person ever, but i am not awful, i have recently started running again (as the weather is nicer) and i have found that after a shorter and shorter length i time i start to get a stabbing pain in the right side abdomen area, once i stop running then the pain stops but as soon as i start again it comes back. I am easing myself back into running quite slowing i don't run too fast but the pain is really starting to get annoying.
Avatar f tn I was wondering if you have found out anything about your pelvic pain while running. My daughter is 17 and has started feeling this same pain. She runs cross-country, plays basketball and runs track. Never had any problems until the last few weeks. The pain is so severe, it brings her to her knees. We have spoke with her doctor and he is not sure what the problem is. Just wondering if anyone might have an idea. Thanks.
Avatar m tn s s dull persistent pain. On top of that occasionally when I begin running I get a pain with each step starting in both buttocks and resonates down my legs. It calms down somewhat during my 3-mile run. Recently I've had another problem which I think is somehow related. When I start my run most days, my front thighs hurt almost to the point of not being functional. I have to gut through it for about a quarter mile at which point, though they still hurt, there is some relief.
Avatar f tn I have recently noticed left arm pain when my heart rate rises while running. I'm 53 yo female in fairly good shape. I have a stressful job but I run 2-3 miles 4-5 times a week. Last week, I ran everyday for 7 days. The pain goes away when I slow down for a minute or two. No chest pain. History of cerebral aneurism in 2008. Treated with a stent. No history of high blood pressure that could have caused it.
424634 tn?1277857528 If the medical jury is still out on what's going on in there, I'd say stick with walking until you're cleared for more strenuous activity. BP spikes and chest pain are not to be ignored. Please be careful. And when will you find out the final diagnosis?
Avatar f tn The best way I can describe it is it is similar to the feeling of cramps you get in your side while running or something and in about the same spot as that. Is it just my muscles stretching? I have been going through a bit of a growth spurt......
Avatar f tn Try a warm shower with the water running on your legs or even a heat pad on low for a bit
Avatar m tn Another symptom which is less commonly talked about is rt side abdominal cramps while running. I am an experienced and competitive runner and have never had this problem prior to thyroiditis. Blood work and sonography negative for liver pancreas appendix gall bladder. Noticed co2 higher than normal plus elevated ESR C Reactive protein typical of disease. Symptom mgmt was 500 mg motrin and 50 mg atenolol weeks 2 to 3 after onset. Now week 4 no aches and pulse drop to 80.
Avatar f tn d been on birth control a while) or it could be appendicitis since it is on the right side. Are you running a temperature? Is the pain getting worse? I would go get checked out sooner rather than later.
Avatar m tn I am 18 years old and for the past couple years now I have been experiencing severe pain while running. The pain is in the upper left portion of my chest, exactly where my heart is. It feels like there is a muscle that is being constricted when I exercise. The pain slowly builds when I start running, and slowly decreases when I stop or walk.
Avatar n tn Right side pain can sometimes indicate appendicitis. When the doc released the pressure, did you have pain then, called "rebound pain". Are you nauseous? Running a fever? If it continues, I would see another doctor and ask for more tests, one being a white blood count, it is better to be safe than sorry.
Avatar f tn it goes away after i rest for a bit. I used to get this pain alot about a year ago but it was on my left side and it was higher up.
