My 3 year old son has a rash that began as small red dots a few days ago. The "dots" keep getting bigger (some of them are an inch wide). The pediatrician was not sure what it is. She said it may be hand-foot and mouth disease, but it's not near the mouth. It's mostly around his joints and he can barely walk because his joints hurt so much. His neck is stiff because of swollen lymph nodes (per the doc). The rash itches, he has a fever, and his stomach and head hurt.
The rash was red splotchy. But it cleared up in 8 hrs by taking an Allegra.

Hi there, About two week ago I developed 1 small shiny red rash on my penis after sexual intercourse. It had grown larger after a week and I visited my doctor which said it was just a minor irritation and did not think it was an STD one week later it has spread to several spots (the larger one on the shaft and the spreading rash on the head) and has gotten larger? What is this? do I need to revisit the doctor or is there some over the counter meds I can pick up.
My hands will bleed and dirt will settle into the rash and the rash scars my hands. My fingers become flushed red. (The specialists I saw when I was 13 told me I have Raynauds). My finger joints hurt during this time. I also have hand tremors, but I don't know whether this is related. When I was 13 - 15, I was tested for all the autoimmune diseases. They were negative but I was told that some dieases dont show until you are older. 10 years later this rash still comes every winter.
I was on them for weeks and finished as of last week, yet still I have the red rash, low grade fever, chills and I am really stressed out and scared. Rash is non itchy, dry, and velvety red with a sort of cracked skin texture. I was in a dermatologist office but they want me to try a different cream and come back in 30 days! I have options to see other providers but I need to have a better idea of what I should ask for.
However, time went by and the weather changed and the rash faded away and then came back. I have large red spot on my inner elbows, outer elbows, back of upper arm, my hands, under my wrists, my bottom, and most annoying small red burning patches on my face.I've tried everything from taking Vitamin C, using oatmeal, using topical steroids, and no relief. It just keeps coming back and its spreading. I don't know what to do and its getting worst, please help me.
They itch a little but mostly just bother me that they are there. I do have them on my torso also but not as bad. Anyone had this happen. The doc says benadryl but I think my employer prefers me to be awake at work.HA HA. Yeah, she's crazy like that. Also I have had some hellacious heaartburn for 2 days. I just hope I can make it 24 weeks at the job. I am only ten days in and I feel pretty tired. Can't wait to get home and lay down. Anyway I pray for us all. We can make it. Right?
Just yesterday I woke up with sores on my hands and fingers. The same sores are on my feet, elbows, ankles, and knees. They are small and red and focus mostly on the joints. These sores are very painful and feel like blisters. What are they and what can I do about them. I can't go to a doctor, because I have no insurance.
Ive had it for just over a year now since I noticed the first red patch on my left cheek.. And now the red rash is on my cheeks and my temples more so on the left side of my face.. I wouldnt call it an extreme red rash but it is noticible somedays being worse then others. Non itchy, but I do notice it being a little flaky at times. When I exercise it does get more noticible.

It could be lyme disease with a co-infection called bartonella. Are your joints painful on both sides of your body equally? The rash could be from bartonella or lyme. You can get lyme in Texas. My husband, son and myself all got lyme disease when we lived in Abilene TX over 10 years ago. My husband would break out in rashes like you along with the joint pain. He also suffed with IBS, lactose intolerance, swollen glands, neck pain and tightness, hair loss, fatigue and restless sleep.
I was so, so relieved, but then i found out it wasn't conclusive. That very same day, i was so fatigued, then i developed a small rash on my eye lid, and rim of my nose. I'm pretty sure it was from the anxiety pills i started taking a week before to help me with my anxiety about the results of the PCR test. Those were two very common side effects, fatigue and skin allergic reaction. Three days later i stopped taking the pills and the fatigue and rash disappeared.
This time the rash started as usual, but spread up and down the entire length of my arm. I also have a rash on the finger and toe joints, all around my neck and now spreading (after 2 weeks) to my back. It itches badly. It is NOT scabies or shingles. (I am a nurse and very familiar with both.) So far I have been told that it was psoriasis, then eczema, then contact dermatitis. None of the steroids, etc have worked.
I have noticed a slight red rash on my skin over the past month. The rash is not extensive or particularly and it is confined to the tops of my legs and just in front of my armpit. However, as the rash seems to be under the skin, I am worried that it might be an indicator that there is something wrong or that I am allergic to something I am eating? What do you think it could be?
It commonly causes red scaly patches to appear on the skin. It can be treated but it commonly has recurrences also. Then they would come back again if I did those activities. Now the rash has turned dark red like a bruise and is peeling (but it seems to be peeling off too much skin because its leaving big raw areas). The joints in my hands also feel soar and stiff, like I have trouble opening water bottles. I went to my family doctor and she thinks it is a sign of an autoimmune disease. She took my bloodwork and it came back normal. However, she still wants me to see a rheumatologist.
I have been suffering from a peculiar rash on my upper chest for about a year and a half. Initially i thought it was acne (as i had suffered from this on my face), however it looks more like a rash, almost like hives in apperance, and does not respond to acne medication. It is made up of several red bumps about 1mm in length. They occur prodominatly on my chest. I went to the doctor when i first got this problem and was prescribed some antibiotics and some aqeous cream.
jpg like this on a like more yellow, without the little bit of red in the middle, smaller inner circle
I've started suffering with very itching skin on the palms of my hands, its started with a rash, similar to a nettle rash, kind of little tiny lumps all over the palms of my hands, in-between my fingers and just over the tops of my fingers on the outer side, it itches like mad and if i scratch it, it goes red, sore and dry like eczema.
Little reddish bumps on the sides of my fingers then on my joints of my fingers. They are really red but they give off a little pinkish tint that you can tell that they are there. It never itches but if you push on them it feels like little needles. They can get so badly around my joints that it hurts to bend my finger, open any bottle of any sort, grip a pencil, etc... we looked everything up but cant figure out what it is. It will go away then come back.
