friend has itching, scaling, crusting rash on posterior neck, and now on sides of neck some ring formation-red rash.
She went to Dermatologist who never mentioned ring worm and prescribed and antifungal cream. To me it sounds like, looks like and feels like ringworm. She needs a better treatment and to protect her from spreading it further to herself and others. What should she do?
Pityriasis rosea is a common human skin disease which presents as numerous patches of pink or red oval rash. The rash may be accompanied by low-grade headache, fever, nausea and fatigue and itching. So more than a week ago my arms became very itchy and rash (small light red pimples) started to develop. Around same time same itchy rash started to develop around neck (basically between breasts and neck). Sometimes itch goes away or becomes almost unnoticeable, but sometimes (mostly around evening, before sleep) it becomes unbearable so I start to scratch them.
Could it be scabies? Or some sort of allergy (but my lifestyle haven't really changed for last couple of weeks).

My dermatologist is stumped. It went away once but recently came back. Tonight it is bothering me so much I am frantically looking on the internet to see if I can find out anything. I discoverd a couple of days ago a red rash on my neck. It itches like crazy. The back of my neck, around my hair line, has been itching for months. I have always just assumed it was dry skin, or my scalp was dry. There are like 6 different spots on my neck. I am wondering if it is Psoriasis? I have a red patch of skin that appears on my neck from time to time. It gets very hot and bright red and stays there for 1-3 hours and then returns to its natural pale color. This usually happens a few times a week. It doesn't seem to be affected by temperature and I haven't been able to correlate it to anything else. The skin itself itchy and doesn't feel dry ... or anything besides really, really warm.
Have you heard of anything like this before? Should I be worried?
I have eczema around my neck and psoriasis on my feet. I have never been tested for stds and had a high risk encounter 3 weeks ago. about a week ago I got this small cluster of raised red bumps that did not itch on the front of my shoulder and they disappeared and hour later. Today again, I got this small cluster of raised red bumps on the front of my left shoulder and again they are gone in about an hour. any idea?
My daughter is just over 4 months and I noticed after her bath today that in one of he neck creases it was really red. I always make sure it's clean and dry, she was drolling a lot and changed her shirt a couple times today. I noticed their wad a lot of fuzz and what not before her bath assuming from her sweater. So about 8 months ago my son who is 9 broke out in a rash/bumps which started on his butt cheeks, moved to his legs (mostly around ankles) but still had bumps on his theigh too, then He had about 15-20 bumps on his stomach, back, arms and neck. So I took him to the dr and the nurse practitioner diagnosed him with scabies. We treated him with the cream along with putting hydra Cortizone cream and Teatree oil all over his body. Within a week they went away.

Here goes, my question, I had around 12 - 15 red painless non ithcy red bumos on my upper back, and some really small light red bumps as well. they were on my upper back, and sides of my middle back. At its worst, it was a red, oily, tight rash on my chin that extended around both sides of my mouth and then underneath my nose. No treatment is usually required. In most patients, the condition lasts only a matter of weeks or months(upto six months)
If the rash persists then it will be best to get it evaluated from a dermatologist. Eczema has to be ruled out then.

Then the itching went away. I started getting a rash instantly on the back of my neck. Just kind of bumpy but extremely red. No itching anymore. Within a couple of hours it spread across my stomach. It wasn't as red, but it was just tiny bumps. It looked like I had goosebumps. It was the same with my back, also the same for the front of my neck. The next day it was worse, it started spreading on the inside of my arms. Then it got to the outer part of my Arms. Just red dots. Not that bumpy.
After getting a hive on her cheek I checked her body. She had bright red hives on her neck and down her back. Same on neck and chest. Took her to doctor who thought allergen Ruben in her eye. She has peanut allergy. I was unsure because we didn't have peanuts. Maybe new allergy. Took her to allergist after rash didn't go away for a couple days. She thought she seemed sick. The rash would flare in the heat or when she was active.
48 hours after having unprotected sex I got a bad rash all over my body oil on my back my shoulders my neck the back of my knee caps my elbows I went to a doctor they said it was eczema and i took a hiv test that came out negative But now the rash is healed up in his red spots all over my bodyshould I still be concerned
