I had a nissan fundoplication surgery 10 years ago, with several complications, due to a compromise of my vagus nerve. Lately, a couple times a day,
liquid including saliva, goes down the wrong pipe. This causes me to choke for a couple of minutes. I don't know if there is anything I can do to correct this. It's a nuisance to say the least. I have yearly dilations and take 80mg a day of omeprazole, for esophageal strictures, But, this doesn't seem to help this problem.
