Tried Omeprazole 40mg, Pantoprozole 40mg, nexium 40mg, rabeprazole 20mg with domperidone, vocinti 20mg.
t know if I should call my doctor back when it opens, call 111 or give the medicine longer than a day to feel any different as last time Omeprazole took 5 days + Domperidone to feel 90% better. I feel like something is really wrong with me, but my doctor said yesterday on the phone, ''Nothing you are telling me is raising any alarms''.
My main symptoms are:
- Nausea/malaise/feeling hot and clammy shortly after eating but NEVER vomited not even once.
I have finally found relief for the constipation that goes with this. I now take 2 omeprazole a day, 4 domperidone--a motility drug, and a Zantac before bed. I have tried ginger capsules and all kinds of natural supplements, plus tums, etc.
Any suggestions? I have had a bezoar when digestion just stopped, gall bladder out--infection in that.
I feel like I have morning sickness all the time!
Both those meds are for anti fungal and yeast so they will only address those issues, so it was to help u get rid of thrush and will do nothing for the GERD symptoms u are having.
DO u still have thrush?
Have u modified ur diet?

I'm suffering from a kind of idiopathic illness which i have not been treated in spite of referring to many docs and taking many drugs(Reglan,Dompridon, Digestive enzymes, Cudinium c,Omeprazole).my problem is that i can't digest foods well ,and foods remain in my stomach too long so i can't eat enough foods during the day(i have already been underweight and continue to loss weight) i have no pain,no reflux, no heartburn, no vomiting ,no nausea.
Thank you for all your info. We have an appt with gastro Dr who runs the domperidone trial. My daughter is "over this" and wants to try this medicaine as most of the reports say it does work. Her name is Rachel and I have told her about the support group. She will probably look into it after her college finals are done. Will keep you up to date. I have been diagnosed with Gastroparsis and my DR is recommending that I take domperidome, since I am not familiar with this medication I would like to hear from those who have taken it, were there any side effects and how did it work.
b) In the interim, you could try Prilosec OTC (Omeprazole 20mg) once a day and Domperidone 10mg 3 times a day to help yourself deal with the burning sensation and the nausea.
c) Eliminate coffee, alcohol and aerated drinks.
d) Have frequent but small meals.
The doc may ask for an upper GI endoscopy and an ultrasound scan of the abdomen.Dont worry, these procedures are not too painful.

Tell your doctor about all the prescription and over-the-counter medications you use. This includes vitamins, minerals, herbal products, and drugs prescribed by other doctors. Do not start using a new medication without telling your doctor.Notice this states it may affect herbal products absorbtion, so the herbal coffee subsitute may not do all it claims....
I forgot to mention that I am also taking omeprazole and domperidone but they have made no difference to the nausea and pain.
I had gastritis end of September last year and since then have had daily acid reflux, I wake up with a sour taste of acid and then have heartburn and pain in my esophagus in the morning which progressively gets worse through the day. My GP put me on Omeprazole 40mg a day and I have been on it for 2 months but I am still getting daily acid reflux. My GP also prescribed Metoclopramide which seems to help a little.
She is currently taking a multi vitamin, 2x20mg omeprazole a day and a probiotic. She has also tried mebeverine, domperidone,pizotifen,prochlorperazine, propranolol, alimemazine none of them have helped.

I am 28 years old and have recently been diagnosed with gastroparesis following almost a year of tests. I have been taking domperidone, omeprazole and buccastem for 7 months which help a little but are by no means a miracle cure. I have lost a great deal of weight taking me down to 87lbs (BMI 15.9) and am sick/ regurgitate food at least 20 times per day. I try to eat very small meals (low fibre, low fat, no animal products) and am prescribed 2 Ensure Plus per day yet still I am struggling.

I was wanting to if anyone has found a way to help gain weight with the Gastroenteritis? He is having a very hard time with this. Also if someone could help with the fact that he burps and it smells so bad and I know what it is from and that he can't help it. But is there anything he can do to help the smell? I have type 2 diabetes for about 12 years, I have had my gall bladder removed. I have neuropathy of the lower legs. With all that being said. I have recently had acid reflux. Now within the last 4 weeks I have been having nausea and one day I did vomit and a call to my doctors office suggested to push fluids and make sure to take my Omeprazole. I did and my symptoms subsided. I stayed on the BRAT diet for about 10 days after thinking I possibly had a virus or ?
Saw GP 4 weeks ago - prescribed omeprazole. Got urgent appt 2 weeks ago with gastro,prescribed domperidone for nausea, doubled omeprazole.CT scan 6/26 pancreas,liver abdomen,pelvis. Upper GI endoscopy 7/99 July.Appt in clinic for results 7/23. He was quite shocked at my weight loss and general appearance as I have seen him regularly for the past 5 yrs.I had an MRI of my abdomen in Nov 2007, asymptomatic, just general Crohn's monitoring. This showed 2 strictures in my small intestines.

Staying really well hydrated. This is my second baby and pregnancy or nursing has never affected my thyroid in the past and the doctor was diligent to keep checking throughout pregnancy and afterwards.

I have had nausea and mild upper abdominal pain with a burning sensation for about 2 months now. The nausea gets worse at night when i'm lying down. When its worse I can also feel acid/vomit? at the back of my throat and it becomes difficult to swallow. I have also developed a cough with loads of mucus being coughed up. I have had mild heartburn for a few years now, it hasnt seemed to have got worse in the last 2 months though.
Ive been diagnosed with both GERD and gastritis months ago. took double dose of omeprazole daily together with domperidone. It made my condition a lot worse. I considered taking it naturally. I had GERD diet for a week and Im fine now. Try this in your diet.
omeprazole and lansoprazole are PPI's or phroton pump inhibitors which stops the stomach from producing acid. it will just make your condition worse when you try to stop the medication because your body will be relying on the PPI's.
