It is a personal choice. Hoped this has helped you.

I guess there's a difference because when you use dry product you need for example two cups but if you use cooked rice you may need a cup ... Since it sucked water and its heavier so .. Avatar n tn I give him Supradyn (including Coenzyme Q10) twice a day to maintain his vitamin/mineral needs. But unfortunately his nutrition lacks of protein and he gets more fatigue. I have two questions: 1) How can I get him to eat or drink something? Cardiologists whom I know dont prescribe anything to stimulate his appetite nor advice to do something for it.
10476455 tn?1423121400 I say of you're afraid of alcohol getting into your milk, I would pump it before you decide to have some drinks :) Breastfeeding helps you lose weight. And your boobs will sag regardless of what you do.
Avatar f tn Im having my daughter monday... and I just wish I could have had some already for when we got released from the hospital. I decided not to do WIC, I know I could have but I really would rather do without and pay what I have to. I bought a baby bullet that purees food into baby food. So hopefully I can introduce those types of foods when shes old enough. I just really wish I knew what types of milk she'd like instead of guessing...

Avatar f tn So today I'm 40+1 and slowly getting depressed as STILL NO SIGN OF BABY MAKING A MOVE! I'm so bored and impatient, I thought I share my weird pregnancy fact with you: so I was born with 4 nipples, but (luckily) two never developed into breasts and look a bit like moles. Now with my breasts getting ready for breastfeeding, one of my extra nipples has grown as well and gotten darker like my normal nipples. Just hoping I won't leak milk from it lol Any weird changes in your body?
975263 tn?1283467568 My 17 month old son does not eat anything. The pediatrician said that i should let him be, that i should not force him to eat and that i should try giving him finger foods to see if he would like them .I tried and he doesn't like anything. He only drinks milk, little water and juice. He is very energetic and does not look sick. I usually give him Pediasure twice daily that the doctor recommended but i am afraid it should not be what he depends on for all his minerals and vitamins.
Avatar f tn For starters what type of food is available to you? What is your budget? You need to be more specific.
Avatar f tn It depends on the kind of soy. Soy doesn't cause thyroid problems, but some people with Hashimoto's Disease, a form of hypothyroid autoimmune disease, can have bad reactions to soy. Soy milk is fine, tofu is fine, tempeh and other fermented soy products such as miso and natto and real soy sauce (this doesn't mean Kikkoman) are fine, fresh soy beans (edamame) are fine, but this shouldn't obviously be the sum total of your diet.
Avatar m tn As for potassium, I recommend you increase potassium daily in your diet. Eat orange juice, bananas, milk, fruits, and potatoes. There are potential dangers of self-dosing with potassium supplementation. I do not know your medical history and recommend you speak with your MD about potassium supplements if you are concerned with your levels.
Avatar f tn The reason I was thinking about Soy was because I'm suffering from morning sickness almost 24/7 lol so my intake of milk is very low right now, just seems to upset my stomach more of course.

Tbd I have never used Medifast personally, but a quick glance at their nutrition facts, and I would say if you are struggling with high cholesterol, I wouldn't go that route. Any pre-packaged items/shakes like that tend to be high in sodium and cholesterol- two things you want to stay away from. As with any diet- I'd ask your doctor before you start any plan to make sure it's right for you. I know losing weight can be tough!
Avatar m tn The aim of our study was to investigate the association between consumption of total and specific dairy products (milk/cheese/yogurt) and their components (calcium/vitamin D/fats/protein), with first incident HCC (N(cases) = 191) in the European Prospective Investigation into Cancer and Nutrition cohort, including a nested case-control subset (N(cases) = 122) with the assessment of hepatitis B virus/hepatitis C virus infections status, liver damage and circulating insulin-like growth factor (IG
