I had some spotting around 7 weeks and cramping too. It was very small spots just on the tissue. I was so scared. I am now 29 weeks. Hang in there, scant bleeding in the beginning can be normal. I nearly drove myself crazy with worry. Congrats.

Bleeding doesnt always indicate Miscarriage. Lay down with your feet elevated this will help stem the flow... If it gets any worse go and see your doctor!!

You should really go to the doctor to make sure everything is o.k. I have experienced a miscarriage in the past and this could be a sign of it possibly. I also had some bleeding at the beginning of my current pregnancy which many women do experience. Everything was fine once I went to the doctor and I am currently due in 5 1/2 weeks. It is very important to get prenatal care and always call the doctor when you experience problems.

Pains that come with bleeding are something to be worried about but you said there is no bleeding. If your pain continues or gets worse, you start bleeding and expelling blood clots go to the emergency room. Pregnancy tests will show positive for weeks after a miscarriage so they are not reliable to detect a failed pregnancy.

Does miscarriage cramps feel kinda like contractions where the pain gets worse then lightens up?

if your cramping gets worse and you are bleeding heavier then you are more than likely miscarrying. This happened to me last week. It was terrible...I hope everything goes ok and you stay in contact with your doctor! Let me know how you make out!

They said the same to me in ER. If the pain gets worse i have to go again, hopefully with Gods will the pain will go away and ill be healthy and normal again. Thank you again for your thoughts.

It is probably just spotting but I will say this is how my miscarriage started. I was 8 weeks and had very light pink spotting for about 3 days, I only noticed it sometimes when I wiped, and had no pain or cramping. Then on the 4th day I had a full blown miscarriage with a lot of bleeding and horrible pain. It seemed like it came out of nowhere, and I hadn't been worrying because everyone told me spotting was normal.

When i had my miscarriage i spotted brown for a few hours with no pain or anything then my back started aching got worse and worse then when i stood up there was a big gush of blood..doesn't sound like your having a miscarriage..i wish you the very best in your pregnancy..

also mild cramping is normal as your uterus is expanding to make room for your baby. if the bleeding gets worse or the cramping does i would call your doctor. As of right now i think your fine. i freeked out when i started spotting w/ my daughter, i called the doc & she said just to lay down on ur side & relax drink water & if the bleeding got heavier i was suppose to call them back. everything turned out fine as i have a beautiful daughter whom will be 3 in feb.

Go to the ER I was also lightly bleeding and found out I had a miscarriage

I have never felt pain like this, its worse than when I had my other kids. Its gets alot worse about every five minutes or so just like contractions, but very very painful and sharp. Does anyeon know if this is normal. I've had miscariages before but nothing like this. I worried there is a problem.

Could just be implantation spotting. Try laying on your left side. If it gets worse called OBGYN. If its a miscarriage unfortunately there is nothing they can do for you this early on. Best wishes!

I tested positive on 2 home tests a few days ago and then yesterday I started having a little bleeding just when I wipe. It started out bright pink and now today its still just when I wipe and only a little. I miscarried back in August at 14 weeks and I am so scared that this is gonna happen again.

I'm 9 weeks, and just yesterday started experiencing the same thing. I spotted all throughout my last pregnancy and she was born full term and healthy. But like you I am also worried because I suffered a miscarriage just before I got pregnant with my last one. Okay so now that the pregnancy has been confirmed. Ive had some bleeding. It started this morning and it was pinkish, then it went to being reddish, then reddish brown, And now it's going back and forth from reddish to brownish. I've had no clotting. Is this spotting? I did! I bled at 10 weeks, almost 11 weeks. I went to the bathroom and found bright red blood in my underwear. I panicked and went to the ER and they did blood work and an emergency ultrasound. I was sure I was having a miscarriage. Turns out they couldn't find a reason for the bleeding (and there are some that don't mean miscarriage!) and my cervix was still closed. My diagnosis was a "threatened miscarriage" but "it didn't look like that was going to happen to me.

I have never actually cought the goo on my tissue it always wipes clean except for today when I had some pink. I went to A and E and they did a test (not blood) and confirmed I was pregnant but have booked me in for the early baby unit on Wed to have a scan.
