s good that the blood is on the tissue but if it is in your bowel movement itself (which might be hard to tell), that's reason to see your doctor. Hemorrhoids are a cause of blood or you could have an anal fissure. But you also could have a polyp that needs to be taken care of. I think your best bet is to see your doctor even though it is not a very pleasant reason to. :>) I can empathize. Been there.
For a little over a month I have had clear semi-hard shelled objects coming out when I have a bowel movement. They are perfectly round and seem to be air/fluid filled. I don't feel them come out, they are not in my stool, but float freely and do not go down when you flush!! (which is how I realized I had them) I don't seem to have any of the obvious symptoms (i.e, stomach cramps, vomitting, headache etc) I haven't travelled anywhere or eaten anything strange.
I have had same thing in the past. I never got it checked and it has only happened a few times.

I'm also experiencing a capsule looking object in my stools from time to time. I've had a colonoscopy done and tested positive for H.pylori about 10 months ago. I did mention this to my Gastroenterologist and I also provide stool specimens and he didn't say that he found anything. This object does not appear often. It also seems as if the object have grown since the last time I noticed this in my bowel movement. Please advise me which direction to take.
My brother is three days out of the hospital where he underwent hip replacement surgery. Now into his fifth day without a bowel movement, he had a small bowel movement this morning. He is alarmed about mucus he observed with the bowel movement.

The trouble here is that he has not had a bowel movement in almost three days. He says that there is no pain and there is no bloating. He just does not feel any urge to move his bowels. He does not feel full or uncomfortable, but he knows that this is not normal and is getting more and more upset about it. In the past couple of days he has had oatmeal, apple, banana, spinach, broccoli, green beans and one dose of a "gentle" laxative.
If this is positive then you may need therapy in the form of exercises and if severe may warrant a corrective surgery. If the bowel movement is a trickling of secretions, then it could indicate a collection in the bowel which is discharged on straining. This collection happens with rectal tumors, inflammatory bowel diseases and sometimes in infections and also in irritable bowel disorders. Your altered bowel habits too are an indication that you may need to be evaluated by your physician.

Different things can cause black bowel. Something you ate, high iron, certain medicines like Pepto Bismol, etc. If you are consistantly having black stools or black tarry stools, I would recommend seeing a doc.
One of the main symptoms is the frequent urge to have a bowel movement. In my case it is usually after meals. My question is what to do during these times, especially when I am in a situation where I cannot immediately get to a restroom. Is it better to stop what I am doing and find a place to have a bowel movement or try and take my mind off it and wait until a more convenient time?

Is the blood fresh (red) or dark in colour? Is it actually in your stool or just when you wipe? How much blood is in the toilet?
Why don't you want to tell your mom? It's likely this is nothing serious but paired with other symptoms such as extreme gas, bloating, nausea, abdominal pain- it could point to endometriosis (which is the site you posted on) or inflammatory bowel disease like Crohn's or Colitis.
I'm using birth control (the patch) and today when I had bowel movement it was red, like the color of blood. At first I wasn't concerned because I figure it was some red chips I had earlier today, but before I used the bathroom the second time my stomach started hurting and that's when I noticed the blood looking color. Should I be worried?
