Avatar n tn You could start searching medical websites for more information. National health and sites such as pubmed or web journal publications may be helpful for journal search. Hope the information is helpful. Take care!
612876 tn?1355514495 Alright, it's been a long time coming, but I've finally at least *started* it. I'm indexing my collection of journal articles where it's accessible to you all. Here in OUR health pages. This is going to be a labor of misery ....er, I mean LOVE. Ha! This is going to take a long time to complete, and of course as there are new journal articles coming out monthly ... NO, I don't even want to *think* about that. Let's just be happy that I embarked!!
Avatar m tn I've read some articles on this and there seems to be disagreement on whether calcium supplements cause calcification or not. I get the feeling it's an individual thing. More important is keeping the cholesterol levels down to a reasonable level. That seems to be a stronger link to calcification (sclerosis) in the arteries than drinking milk. A doctor can test your calcium levels and let you know if they're too high.
1050179 tn?1253899186 Does anyone know where I can find articles that are concrete in using methadone for chronic pain? I'm on 110mg's of liquid methadone and have to go to the clinic twice a week because I have 5 take home days. But I don't want to have to go there anymore to get the medicine. - At first,I went there because I was taking percocet for my FM pain and kept having to take more and more to get the relief I needed.

Avatar f tn We have articles by Dr. Grubb on our "further reading" Health Page. I am SO SORRY if somehow you've slipped through the cracks and no one has pointed out the health pages to you all this time since you joined our dysautonomia community!!!! There is a link to our health pages on the upper right hand corner whenever you are here in the Dysautonomia Community (it's next to the yellow icon that has pieces of paper on it and it just says "Health Pages").
Avatar m tn Hello~I am requesting that this post be transferred to men's health, they will be able to help you better.
Avatar m tn Hi Motorspear: Although this is a great community and it deals with pain, I think your question might be better answered by the "Men's Health Forum". I'm sure that you're not the only one with this problem and other men that post in the Men's Health Forum might be better suited to answer this question. I hope that you find the answer your looking for. Others may post as the day goes on and you might get your anwer here...you never know.
Avatar f tn Hi all! I had posted something in Men's health related to this issue last week but now that it seems to becoming a little more clear that it's not a men's health thing and a general health thing I thought I'd post here. My general question is this: When I touch my chin to my chest I feel a very quick numbness in my lower right butt cheek near the Ischial tuberosity. It only lasts for a quick minute and then goes away.
Avatar f tn Hello~You will probably get more help in the men's health forum, I have put a request in for you for this post to be transferred there.
