I suffer from lower back pain occassionally and I was trying to find out if it was kidney related. However, I noticed that after drinking plenty of water it goes away. I do not feel pain sitting down but it is mostly when I try to get up that I can not not get my back straight quickly. I came to conclude that some allergy to some foods causes the tendons or ligaments to stiffen up causing disconfort. Tolerance to some foods may be limited and the symptons can come in different forms.

This happens every now and again, and it happens when I first lie down in bed I get an uncomfortable pain inside my lower back, it usually goes after a few minutes of me stretching my back, then I wake up in the morning and its back and sometimes occurs also in the front of my abdomen in the morning too.

You rub it on the area of pain. My uncle who had cancer found that it was the only thing that took his back pain away. It has some sort of lidocaine, novocaine, or zylocaine properties in it that numbs the area of pain.I think you would benefit from it. You can pick it up from Walmart. If not, ask your doc For some Zylocaine Jelly. This is prescription strength and numbs the area really good, without making you feel high.Hope this helps.

I am an 18 year old female and have had on and off lower back pain for about 2 years. It is a spasm feeling. I am thin, but my stomach and core are not in very good shape. I do not exercise as much as I should.. I went to see an orthopedic doctor. He told me I have poor posture, and that I "hunch back". He took two x-rays and discovered I have scoliosis in my lower back. He told me, however, that it was mild and that he did not think it was the cause of my back pain.

The first time she was given herceptin and vinorelbine she experienced severe back pain and was given a concoction of very strong pain killers. Ever since that treatment she has been having lower back pains. She is currently not on any continuous medication except for the chemotherapy drugs and the occasional pain killer. Currently she also has 2 ureteral stents in place for slight hydronephrosis. However the urine did not contain any traces of blood or wbc.

From what I have read, that seems to be the answer to that type of pain. Could anything else cause back pain like mine and it not be cancer?

I am only 16 years old right now.. but im experiencing a serious lower back pain since when i was 13 years old.. i have not asked a doctor yet but could it be anything? like a cancer? it get hurts sometime especially when i try to bend down and pick up something or when i sit still for too long.. should i do anything about it?

im 57 the last 4 days have had pain in my lower back hips and thighs. i have in the past had swollen knees . also 2 years ago i was told i have gall stones. i didnt go for op. because my son was diagnosed with cancer at the same time. colud my back touble be to do with this.

I am extremely worried that these nodules may represent thyroid cancer and that the lower back pain could represent a cancer that has spread. Would the mri that I had back in October of 08 rule out this possibility? I appreciate your expert opinion on this matter as I am in a constant worried state. Also I would like to have another child and I am 38 years old. I had a miscarriage before this all began. Is this related to the thyroid issue? Thank you for your help.

I know I have asked this before..I am experiencing lower back pain..just like before the hysterectomy...should I see my surgoen since it has been a year since my surgery??? I told my Gyn at the last visit she really didnt say much about it..it has been bothering me quite a bit..also if it is scar tissue or adhesions can they detect that through a sonogram or ct scan??? It is in my lower back (minor pain) and my middle to upper and right side of back. Chiropractor seems to think joints along thoracic spine and arthritis. On a side note - I was diagnosed with stage III colon cancer in 2008 and had surgery and six months of chemotherapy (during this time, not much back pain). It's been 1 year since chemo ended and back pain is worse then ever. Any helpful suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you!

Actually I'm quite worried about the testicular cancer. I read advanced stage testicular cancer causes lower back pain coz it's pressing something(?) there. But from my self diagnosis, i dont have any lump or bump on the testis itself except those dilated veins.

This cleared up after ant-biotics, but symtoms returned, had more antibiotics but hasnt cleared symptoms! I have lower back pain and pelvic pain, I also think I feel sick but I dont know If that is just worry? I have had more swabs today and also a smear, I get the results for the swabs next week! I have been in pretty constant pain in the left quandrant of my lower back and lwft pelvic area for over two weeks. Thought it may be UTI but UA came back normal. Doctor said may be stons or diverticulitis - I don't think so - had many kidney tests over the years. Know that oclon is ok -concerned about ovary and uterous. Am I safe if last pap 12/07 was normal?

infact a good walk helps but this lower back discomfort and mild pain is annoying and i cant stop worrying.. my mother has had it with me .. remember all blood works were done less than a month ago and all were normal. ..

For the past couple of weeks I have been having episodes of feeling like gas is going to pass and then I have an explosive dark watery diarrhea. Afterwards, I will have lower back pain throughout the next 12-24 hours. Could this be Crohns, colitis or cancer?

I can hear it as well as feel it. I feel severe pressure and deep pain underneath the crunching in my lower back. This is a recent issue as I have not had time to Andreas my physician just yet.
