loestrin missed period

Hi. I used to take Loestrin 24. I had the real kind. But my period started early also. When I stopped taking them my period was very late (by 2 months). All of this is because your body has to adjust to the hormones in the pill.

Im six days late for my period. Im on the birth control LoEstrin and my boyfriend and I use condoms so I didnt think I was pregnant. I took a test two days ago to be sure and it came out negative. Is there another reason that Im so late? Is it okay to be this late even on birth control? Could I actually be pregnant and the test was just a false negative?

I've been on my bc (loestrin fe) for about 7 months now. I've never missed a pill but occasionally take it at a different time. Between 7:10 and 7:30. I know that that's alright but I go on and off with periods. Sometimes it starts with the white pills and sometimes the red and sometimes not at all. I also have bleeding during my second week for about 3 days. Is this normal? Could I be pregnant? Should I be worried?

I have never missed a pill, but I guess I could just be being paranoid. Loestrin gives me VERY VERY light periods anyway, and I've heard that even skipping a period on Loestrin is normal. I have taken my first inactive pill today so I guess I just need to wait it out instead of jumping the gun with paranoia. Thanks so much for your reply!

ve been on it since I had my daughter in steptember of 2011. I have taken it everyday. Missed my period on the 15th took a test yesterday.. it was positive. So id be 6 weeks n 2 days.. Im worried that since I didn't know I was pregnant for sure until yesterday could the birth control pill affect my baby in any way?

I'm 23 and on birth control (Loestrin 24). Normally my periods are somewhat regular, but really light and short. Last month I didn't have one, but I did have some slight spotting before my period was supposed to come. This month my period also skipped. I have no other symptoms of PCOS except some acne on my chin (but occasional breakouts are not uncommon for me, I have oily skin, plus an expired skin product and eating wheat with my allergy may have caused this).

I had a period three days after surgery and then another very heavy painful period the next month. This month I had no period at all. I am on birth control as well. Has this happened to anyone? I'm very confused and scared. Please help!

yeah... I was taking this for about 6 months and had the same problem. except I had lots of breakthrough bleeding... except for the 5th month. I wish I knew why.. it scared me so I switched birth control and am now having worse problems with it...

I've been on loestrin 30 for over a year, and I started taking the pill to control mood swings and to get lighter periods. For several months my periods have been really light and only lasted 2-3 days, and this month I finished taking my pills on Friday 19th, and 4 days later I still haven't got my period. Hi! Any time that there are missed pills or a missing period I recommend to my own patients to do a pregnancy test. Your test should have been within the ball park. so you can possibly relax a bit, but I would double check in week or so. Good luck!

I already had my period. So, I'm not late I just had a very very light period and it only lasted about a day and a half. Still a possibility?

Hello, I've been on birth control since I was 15 (now 23) for ovarian cysts. About a year ago I switched pills from Loestrin 24 fe to Lo Loestrin 24 fe. Within the year I think I've had 2 periods (only lasting a day or so) and a few days of very light spotting. I do know this pill is the lowest dose of hormones you can have with a birth control pill. Is this normal?

Give her time to heal from the surgery and give Loestrin time to work. When Loestrin is used continuously to stop your period that is how pain is stopped.

I asked that because sometimes low dose bcp tend to make your cycles very light, even over time. I was on Loestrin 24 for about 3 years and i began to have no period but i wasn't pregnant. It was weird because they got lighter and shorter and eventually non-existent. I then changed pills to be a guinea pig with other bcp's...

Will it still help and protects in all those ways if u skipped 2 days and got your period twice? That happened to me and I just switched to loestrin fe the day after I had unprotected sex. I was on my 7 day break so I wasn't on bc at all when I had sex.
