Itchy rash jawline

Common Questions and Answers about Itchy rash jawline

itchy

I am a 29 year old female. I get these itchy rashes that start out at my neck/jawline. Where ever I itch they spread, onto my neck, cheeks and forehead and even into my ears. They are small, raised itchy bumps, they remind me of hives but benadryl does not make them go away. It itches like crazy. I can not find any thing on the internet about it.
I have had a "rash" on my jawline and neck for over 9 months. It is constantly hot and bright red. It becomes itchy if I let my facial hair grow at all. It started shortly after taking Synthriod. I also started with severe Rosacea around that time. I stopped taking Synthriod. Rosacea has become a bit better - rash still bad. The rash has spread considerably in last 6 months. It is greatly affected by heat, cold wind, shaving, any rubbing or touching, etc.
After 10 days of using HCG for weight loss I developed an itchy rash on my arm. A few days later the rash started on the jawline of the left side of my face? Has this happened to anyone else?
Hello, Just wanted to preface by saying I have a dermatologist appointment set up... in December. But, I've gotten pretty desperate lately so wanted to see if anyone had any ideas. I'm 24 and have had great skin almost my entire life- however, last November I started getting what I'm calling a "rash" along my jawline. It comes and goes, it's itchy, and there's little bumps. I also will get some bumps on my forehead. Sometimes it's just red patches that are itchy.
I have had a heat rash on my neck, beside the jawline now for 14 years. I have been to a few Dr's who have said "Its just a heat rash, nothing you can do about it". My question, can a heat rash last for this long? Its been in the same place and has never spread. Its definately gets worse in the heat, it itches like crazy.
I also gently cleanse my face daily. However recently, as in the last several months, I have had a recurring pimple-like rash at the edges of my face. It always appears right behind and a bit onto my cheeks and chin line, and it looks like small red bumps. Some are raised and some look like they are below the skin. It can be slightly itchy/painful and the salicylic acne cream I have tried did not reduce it.
ive recently been getting red, dry itchy burning skin, and it appears in the same places all the time. in my eyebrows, the bridge of my nose, both my cheeks, and along my jawline on each side. it usually goes away for a while, but it always comes back. i took some pictures today if anyone would like to see them. it looks so horrible this morning that i had to stay home from work. it also goes into my gotee and moustache, turning them both red and burning, and also cause flaking.
Just when it seems to go subside, it breaks out again. The rash itself is cocentrated on my jawline, somewhat like a beard would be. It is red, scaly, iritated, mildly itchy. Absent are zit-like pimples, whiteheads and so on. I am intersted in your input. I have done independent reseach. Looks like a facial yeast infection, however; I would like to know other ideas. I have been to an allergenist. Nothing worthy of mention. I am slated to see the dermatologist the end of this month. Thanks.
Hi. I woke up one morning and my face was swollen badly. No other symptons. I started with some allergy medicine I had at home & by evening swelling had gone down some. Next morning, swelling was back with right eye almst swollen shut. Swtched to o.c. Benadryl 50mg every 4-6 hrs. Swelling decreased more, itchy rash started on face & neck. Next mornig swelling decreased greatly, itchy eyelids, facial skin horriblybumpy, rash spreaded to chest, back, and upper arms.
She thinks I have some kind of allergive eczema, but I don't think so as the lotion is not working and I have had eczema before and it was itchy and didn't look like this. This rash is not itchy, but burns most of the time like a sunburn. I did eat some homemade tomato sauce the day before I first got it so maybe it's the citric acid. So I will try to avoid it from now on.
Since April, I have had a re-ocurring rash on my face and a little on my neck. It starts out looking like I'm going to have a small pimple break-out and within 8 hours it is red and itchy. The bumps look like zits not blisters. It also seems to spread. It starts around my jawline and works its way up, then a few spots show up on my neck sometimes. I can't seem to pin it to anything. I've tried changing moisturizers and that didn't work.
Did you ever figure out what was causing your rash. I am having the exact same problem.. itchy rash on collarbone area and top/back of shoulders that comes and goes. Thanks!
the right side spot started to get better, unfortunately the left jawline is the one's acting up (raised bumps - very itchy), i have some few bumps in L cheek and forehead as well but not as bad itch on my Left jawline. i actually see very good result from this cream for just 2 days of use - back to back days (which i think i should have used it once a week first) and i shouldn't have added my moisturizer on top of it, huh. so, if this resolve can i try the cream back (with appropriate usage)?
Every summer I get these itchy bumps all over my cheeks, forehead and jawline. The more humid it is the worse they itch. My skin is also very oily. If you look at me straight on there is no indication that there is anything wrong. However if the light hits my face just right you can see all the bumps. I've been to two dermatologists and I have tried every medication for acne, rosacea and eczema. I am getting really frustrated with this.
Basically, these small bumps form under the skin and just stay there. They are the most severe along my jawline. They are not red, irritated, or itchy, however, they make the texture of my skin very rough. If you squeeze them, white junk oozes out. I have done everything from gentle cleansing to a full blown acne treatment and nothing seems to work. I've been working with a skin care professional since the beginning of the year, but she is at wits end.
I have always had very good skin although somewhat dry and sensitive but never anything long lasting and my beauty regime is fairly regular. About 3 months ago I got a rash along the jaw line of my face that starts as little red spots (which are still there although not bumpy and they never came to a head. I used my normal tea tree oil to try and get rid of them and at certain times they were slightly itchy.
Since yesterday evening my entire back, scalp, hairline, neck (all around), forgead, jawline, chest, and the skin over my rib cages are itchy practically every minute. I'm itchy as I type this. There is no rash or redness until I scratch it, due to the irritation scratching causes. I don't even know what can be alcausing this or what to do. I have taken a shower. And it's not dry skin.
My wife also had the PUPPS rash but after giving birth and now 3 years later she experiences a rash that flares up mainly during her menstrual cycle and during times of stress. The bumps are red, appear mainly around her panty line and some around her bra. When itchy bumps subside they leave a dark spot almost like a scar right where the red bump was. The doctors have not offered any conclusive solution or explanation.
I went to a Nordstroms makeup show this weekend, and had my makeup done by three different lines of cosmetics. I woke up the next day with a few itchy patches around my jawline and on my neck. They weren't bad, but by later that night I could barely sleep my face was so itchy and I can feel a million little bumps that aren't really visible. I left all makeup off, and put aloe vera on it with menthol...that did help the redness and itchiness temporarily.
I have a very itchy jawline. I can't help but scratch it. I have no rash at all or discoloration. The only thing that seems to relieve the itch is ice or a very cold damp washcloth. Is there anything that I can do to relieve this itch? I have tried Benadryl and a topic anti itch cream and nothing seems to work. I have also suffered from the same affliction on my hands and arms below the elbow. Please help!!
Several years ago, it would just appear on my temples, but now it covers a wider area including my cheeks and under my jawline. It comes and goes, sometimes it is very minor, but sometimes, it gets very red, itchy, with lots of little tiny white pimples (not pimples the way I'm used to, which are clogged pores, but pinprick sized whiteheads in clusters). I'm very careful about what I put on my skin, and have avoided everything for periods of time long enough to rule out a topical allergy.
I am 31wks pregnant with a rash that has persisted 2.5 months. The rash started with what I thought was an acne-like breakout, I assumed it was preg related and treated with all the normal pimple creams and washes. After a week or two I decided that it was a rash and treated with 1% cortisone cream, it became slightly better but still would not go. My OB gave me some Amlactin lotion to try, it dried my skin out but no relief.
Shamefully, for almost 8 years I have been getting very small itchy blisters on various spots on my arms and legs. The small blisters develop and immediately itch intensely, which is how I know they're there. They have a clear fluid inside, with no puss. When I scratch them in my sleep or when they break, they often weep a little amber colored liquid. Also, when I scratch them, more tiny blisters will develop around the original blister, signifying an infection.
I'm off valtrex now( too expensive w/out insurance) and the bumps on my hands have gotten worse and now are going from my right hand to my left. i had an itchy bump on my jawline the other day also(first time this had happened) These bumps are the worst on my top/inner thighs and right hand/wrist area, left top foot around toe area. Barely any on my front waistline, left hand, right foot, forearms, ankle area, calve area.
Almost 4wks post and the itch is really aggravating on the neck, jawline, occassionaly chest and back...but the scalp has gotten bad, and yes this rash stuff all did kick up the week of the big heat wave when I was working in the sun. I haven't been in the sun much lately but though the visible rash is clearing slowly the itch persists. I'd been afraid to put anything on the scalp but reading this I see there are things to try.
For about 2 or 3 years I've been suffering with this chronic rash on my face. It always appears in the exact same areas: on either side of my nose angling down towards the corners of the mouth, below my mouth on either side and in a small patch on my jawline on the right side of my face. At its' worst it is red, blotchy and sometimes terribly itchy (I do a very good job of not scratching it as this only makes matters worse), other days it may not bother me at all and be hardly noticeable.
For a few years, when anything with even a small amount of nickel in it would touch my skin, whether or not it was damaged skin (as in a cut, scrape, hole from itching, etc) I would develop an allergic, VERY itchy rash. I had a certain pair of jeans that must have had a lot of nickel in the button to snap them closed, because I ended up getting an itchy red raised bump there after every time I worse those jeans, and it was very similar in all ways to what I have now.
here i go....so for the last 6 months i have had itchy eyelids...my eye doctor told me it was due to mild allergies and prescribed eye drops which didnt help in the least so i turned to over the counter allergy medicine which hasn't helped either (so i dont think it's allergies) and in the last 3 weeks not only are my eyelids itchy but when i wake up in the morning my upper eye lids are bright red and swelled up so bad that its embarassing!!!!
