When I was younger, I got my belly button pierced and my body rejected it. I also have had knee surgery and a screw was placed in my knee cap. After a year, the screw started to hurt and caused me numerous problems. The doctor told me that it was probably infected and it needed to be removed. I have been worrying that if I did get a boob job, my body could possibly reject the breast implants or cause an infection. Is this possible?
They say stress or anxiety can cause many random and unexplainable pains. As long as they aren't sharp or intense pains that impede you to carry on a normal life then its a questionable problem. If you don't feel stressed or have anxiety then you should decide where on your body you get the most pain and see a doctor. you can also change your diet and sleeping habits to see if anything changes.
How long has this been going on? You may have a urinary tract infection, or, if you have anxiety it could be caused by that. I would recommend seeing your Dr to see if you may have a UTI.
You have different kinds of nerve receptors in your body. viz cold, hot, pain etc. Due to some allergy/drug reaction or some nerve stimulations you might be having these hot receptors stimulated and this is the reason for feeling warm. Stop all medications for couple of days,take some anti histamines and if you still have the feeling you should visit a neurologist. I started having tingling starting in the backs of my arms, progressing into my entire body for the last two months. When I sit or lie down it is constant. When I'm up moving I don't feel it as much. My GP ran all sorts of blood tests, cbc, ferritin, sed rate, ana, electorlytes, etc. everything came back normal. She is now referring me to a neurologist. What could cause a progressive tingling like this? Would a problem with my spine cause something in my entire body?
I hear the desperation in your plea for help. I have been in the same place of desperation and can say that i agree with Shannon above. However, if I may add something more. Getting the help that we need from a medical professional is very much needed but when we feel desperate it may feel way too slow. I have gone to a stress center ( in a hospital) for more immediate, focussed help (not just waiting for next weeks appt to talk to someone).
Just had my beautiful baby girl yesterday at 4:44pm. I had to be induced and was at the hospital at 8am. I wasn't dilated at all so they shoved pills up into my cervix. The first pill didn't do much so at about 4:15 my Dr placed another. Then my contractions started almost immediately. The dr checked me when he put the second pill in and he said I was 2-3 cm dilated. I called for the nurse to get the epidural.
i have some symptoms of it like fatigue, hair loss , problem in sleeping, dry skin . Also i have one strange problem bad body odour. in that odour my body smell very bad that i cant describe it. anybody can smell it from far distance . it happens just even after i take a bath . please give me solution. my life is bein worst due to this. i had try many things such as bath twice in a day , used a body deodorant . but nothing is working infect when i use deodorant smell become more worst .
today i went for a chest x-ray and ecg ...n in report it said dat there is some infection in lungs....but it may be normal infection or may be tb.....there is a confusion between the two possibilities....also my body weight has gone down n did not feel like eating much...there is little bit of coughing also but its just plain coughing n no mucous with dat.....as far as my body temperature is concerned...
The CD4/CD8 ration is outdated and no longer used to evaluate person with HIV ad has NO role in evaluating risk for infection in others who do not have HIV. Your CD8 cell count is high and your CD4 lymphocyte count is normal. In persons with HIV, the CD4 count is low because of the infection (the virus selectively destroys CD4 cells) and that, in turn, makes the ratio of CD4 to CD8 cells also low. In normal people both CD4 and CD8 counts fluctuate a great deal normally.

My friend had that happen. Her cervix or uterus muscle wasn't holding the baby. Forgot what that is called. Her baby needed steroids too. However, she was on bed rest until after 30 weeks and then her water broke, her baby was about 2 1/2 months premature.
