Believe me, i want to get rid of the cats. But i don't even mess with them. They're my husband's cats. He takes care of them i do not. They just like to annoy me. I honestly only take care of my dog, turtles, and our fish. But like i said, there's absolutely no animals allowed in my baby's room. None have ever gone in there and probably won't ever go in there. I'm keeping my baby away from the animals for quite a while.

Ok so I have a small dog, she is a weenie dog mix. I've had her for 6 yrs and I have a five yr old daughter. I never had any problems with the dog. But ever since I found out I'm prego with # 2 she has been acting out.... Potting in the house, tearing up trash, eating my food if I sit out down to go to restroom ect... Has anyone else had there animals act like this while they were prego? Idk what to do with my dog I luv her very much but I don't need the added stress.......

ve been taking hydrocodone or percoet for the last 3 years and also take xanax and I just wanted to know is this going to hurt my baby? I do not want to go through a miscarriage again and I want this baby so bad... My OBGYN says its fine to take them in moderation and I'm just not sure if thats okay? Ive went without taking them and ended up in the hospital because it was so bad, not from withdraws just them pain...Please reassure me this is okay....

but yes i recomend the blanket thing to people with both dogs and cats so that way the smell isnt a shock to them...but most animals usually adjust very quickly...

There really isn't a lot a doc can do but give you meds to help with the discomfort. Just becareful because some drugs givin to help detox can be addictive. Only take a very short period. But it can be done without them. Normally all they'll do at the hospital is send you back home,unless your blood pressure has sky rocketed or some other health issue. How you feeling today?

My cat never slept with me in my room he would always sleep in my moms room on her spare pillow with his blanket and ever since ive been pregnant hes never left my side! He throws fits when I leave my room for more than 5 minutes and he nudges my stomach almost all the time every day. Has anyone noticed a change or is it just me?

Or, explain how you are feeling and ask your partner to step up to the plate with her. For him to do more to care for the dog and have the dog fall more under his responsibilities. AND< perhaps a good dog trainer would be in order. A dog should go to the bathroom outside only and learn manners and if you tell them to sit and stay that they do it. so, I'd get some dog training for your pooch to see if that helps. My dog is one of the joys of my life.

Anyone else feel so much closer to their animals now? I have a 8 month old kitten and before I got pregnant she didn't want anything to do with me, now she's constantly all over me and if any body squirts her with the spray bottle I get extremely defensive and she's always wanting to be near/on my belly. I am sure some of you have animals. I have a sweet black cat and a tiny chihuahua that is a bit crazy. I have a husky and she's usually a spoiled brat, she doesn't like to cuddle and she don't lay be me. She stays at the end of the bed or on the floor but yesterday and today she has been laying by me and curling up right against me. Just wondering if maybe she knows it's coming?

My chihuahua will sit and and look at me and just start crying and howling for no reason. And if I walk outside she freaks out and cries she has to literally be with me at all times. Could this mean labor soon? I just don't get why they are being so weird.

You have two different animals in your post. Hydrocodone and methadone arent even close to the same. Its mostly the long half life of methadone that makes it attractive for maintenance. A single dose is good for over 24 hours. And a person can be quite functional on methadone. If vic's lasted longer it might have been the case with those also - but its not. A person being maintained on methadone once daily would need 4-6 doses of hydrocodone to remain on something resembling an even keel.

Is the lab detecting minor amounts of hydrocodone -- then this is normal for codeine metabolism. But if it is detecting a therapeutic dose of hydrocodone, then its presence can't be due to the metabolism of codeine. Today is kind of a rough day b/c one of my animals got sick last night & I'm very concerned. These are the times when I would rely on the hydrocodone the most. . . for sleep & relaxation. I was also having some craving yesterday anyway. But, I've seen a post from GAGuy regarding being addicted for years. . . not going to be "over" it in a week. I'm hoping things will get better today but that will depend on my animal, not necessarily my w/d symptoms.

vicodin is a narcotic with acetaminophen, if I were you I would call an er Vet. acetaminophen alone is highly toxic and lethal to a cat...this can destroy his liver or kill him. and I'm sure the hydrocodone can cause similar... I would get help asap....and PLEASE let us know how he makes out.

I have been taking hydrocodone for multiple issues for almost 10 years. It doesn't seem to be helping much anymore and I need suggestions on something new to try. I don't want to go to percoset, because it works post surgery where morphine does not. Tramadol causes me to have seizures (they think) so it's off the table, and they gave me demerol for dental pain once but it did nothing. So I'm wondering if anybody has any suggestions on something new to try.

I get urine drug tested every month when i go to get my prescriptions from a pain management clinic. I have tested positive for either Hydrocodone or Oxycontin the last 6 times I tested. I havent taken Hydrocodone in 5 years and Ive never taken Oxycontin. The dr doesnt believe me and Im probably gonna be released because of it. I cant make him believe me. Can anyone tell me if any of the following drugs can give a false positive for Hydrocodone or Oxycontin.
