Hydrocodone and lodine

Common Questions and Answers about Hydrocodone and lodine

vicodin

Avatar m tn I'm on Lyica 150mg twice a day, along with Hydrocodone apap 5-325, and have taken Norflex and Lodine for my lower back for years. My problem is I can't walk more than 100 feet without a break. I start the work day walking up right and erect. That doesn't last long. I feel like I have a 10 lb weight on my neck, 20 lb weights on both hip pockets, and 20 lb on both thighs. I walk stooped over and can barely lift my legs more than an inch and can hardly breath.
Avatar n tn I was refered to a reumatologist who found nothing to help my pain (10mg prednisone qd, NSAIDs like celebrex, vioxx, lodine, IBU, etc.) and all those meds did, except for the prednisone, was to upset my stomach and increase my abdomional pain. i had MRIs on both knees and lower back, where my knees cam back fine, but my lower back did show degredation of the L4-L5 disc (or L5-S1, but the doctor wasn't very complete so im not really sure exactly).
Avatar n tn Then I had surgery a couple of weeks ago and thought I would be upping the dose and never did - was given a script for 6 to 8 per day and never took more than 2 over a period of about a week. Then I stopped. Haven't taken anything for 7 days. had a little diarrhea around day 3 sleep is kinda crummy - but I am 55 and sleep has been kinda crummy since I hit 50. I usually take 1/2 of a trazadone (script is for 1 to 3 before bed) a bit sniffly and sneezy.
Avatar f tn If you can't tolerate pain well, and this is typical for you, you might ask for better pain relief medicine. Hydrocodone is only one type, and sometimes, I remember, Hydrocodone alone just didn't cut the pain for me either. I've used Xanax, Vicodin, Darvocet, Lodine, Tordol along with aleve or OTC meds in various combinations until I feel well enough (and then usually slept like a baby, which helps your body deal with the pain to regroup.
Avatar m tn The combination of pills I recieved from both was Lodine, Hydrocodone, Methylprednisol, Cipiro, and Utira-C. The Lodine made my chest feel a little swollen and my heart beat felt like it was pounding harder than usual. My blood pressure was a little higher than usual, but not too bad. 130 / 85. Then I took Utira-C (just one pill) and my heart went crazy(pulse 100) and my blood pressure went too 150 / 100. I ended up in the ER 12 hours later because it wouldn't stop.

Avatar n tn this time..continue Medral pak, hydrocodone for pain, and Lodine. Now, i hurt so bad i can't stand to walk, riding in the car hurts, nothing helps the pain. Not even a little bit of relef from my meds. I was referred to a pulmonologist. I was in tears while at his office..I couldn't say a word without crying...I knew for certain i was dying. He tested for underlying causes: lupus, and other female diseases, and he also did chest x-rays which he said looked great.

Avatar m tn I went out and bought a huge bag of Epsom salt, vitamins B6, and C, a multi mineral vitamin that has Calcium Iron Lodine Magnesium Zinc Selenium Copper Manganese Chromium Sodium and potassium all in one pill, L-Tyrosine, and L-Theanine. I hope it’s worth its Weight in gold. I have one pill left I’m going out with some friends which will probably be my last breath of fresh air for a while. I will keep this page open on my computer at all times for support and I’ll keep posting.
544292 tn?1268886268 It makes me very angry that these Doctors know and aren't telling people. I don't believe that they are ignorant. I've been over and over it again and again. It makes no sense that I would know more as a user of the drug than they would. There's so little on Tramadol or Ultram on the web. Tons on other drugs. Ok so the most alarming part of the Tramadol we would think would be the fact that it is a synthetic opiate. It's a Narcotic. It's just been slipped thru the schedule.

Avatar n tn //www.spine-health.com/topics/conserv/overview/med/med042.html I have read through the post, http://www.medhelp.org/posts/show/44446, which discusses this specifically. Thanks, for the guidance.
Avatar n tn I've been legitimately taking hydrocodone now for several weeks, three times per day. My depression is long gone now and I am able to function physically as well. On the SSRI's I felt tired and weak most of the time to the point of staying home in bed for long periods. That's how it is with me in a nutshell. If someone wants to say that I abuse my hydrocodone, well all I can say is that this abuse has brought me back into society as a functioning and contributing member.
Avatar n tn Has anyone ever tried Lodine XL? I love that stuff...non narcotic, anti-inflammatory, beats the heck out of vioxx & celebrex too, might be worth at least trying.
Avatar n tn 5 (a doctor started me on this for migranes and gave me 4 refills) and I've been to hell and back. If only I could keep the symptons of withdrawal in a pocket...so that I never forget how awful it feels. The pain in my all my muscles feel like tight rubber bands that are going to snap in any minute. The stomach cramps and chills/sweats, etc. Now comes the hard part..the mental acceptance..I'm very depressed right now...and just keep reading these pages of testimony to keep me going...
Avatar n tn I'm really concerned that this guy is too agressive and he is going to rerupture it. I'm a 350lb guy and I really don't want to have to go this surgery again. Should I start looking for another doc?
