acne

Avatar n tn For the past five months, i have had small bumps on the shaft of my penis which i believe is sebaceous prominice. In addition, in and around the bumps i have had little red bumps that look like acne or folliculitis. They are scaring me and i truly don't know how to get them to go away. I have gotten it down to one acne/folliculitis pimple and it won't go away for good. It will leave for a day to a month and then come back. I need help.
Avatar f tn Hello, Back and shoulder acne are quite difficult to treat compared to acne on other parts of the body. Thoroughly wash your body everyday, especially the back and shoulder part using a back brush and frequently change your bed sheet, as it is conducive for bacterial growth. Engage in a diet that is low in sugar and fat but is rich in vitamins. This prevents acne by preventing the buildup of excess oil on the skin. Also refrain from touching or squeezing your shoulder acne.
Avatar n tn Hi, a couple of months ago, as the title of this post sugests ive started to get some acne mainly on my upper back and now also on my shoulders too. Cant believe it how it looks now and how it used to look (i was clear, and even used to make fun of my sister's acne on her back!). Damn puberty... =p What's the best product (cream or natural) that would get rid of these marks and acne effectively?
Avatar n tn Before my blood test results were known he prescribed two tubes of stuff to apply to my acne that have work reasonably well. Eryacne to apply in the morning which I think is a topical antibiotic and Differin at night. Since finding out that my androgen levels are high, my GP has put me on a contraceptive pill that contains anti-androgens. This has worked wonders!

Avatar n tn Hi, welcome to the forum, the tiny spots on the skin other than acne, suggests atopic dermatitis which is seen due to allergic background and Contact dermatitis due to direct skin exposure to a substance which can be a allergen or irritant. Anti-histamines with appropriate steroids against prescription will help to alleviate the condition. Identify and avoid the triggering factor which you been exposed to recently. I suggest you to consult a dermatologist for further management.
Avatar f tn It is advised to sit and walk with a straight back. Physiotherapy to strengthen back muscles may also be helpful. If the pain does not seem to get better in a day or two, I would suggest getting this evaluated by a primary care physician initially and depending on the cause diagnosed/ suspected, it can be managed accordingly or specialist care may be sought. Hope this is helpful. Take care!
Avatar n tn hey mamas, are any of you suffering from preggers acne? Just curious what you've been using to prevent or keep symptoms down and if it's gone away yet. If it's gone, how far along you were when it left. Thanks.
Avatar n tn Hi all, I'm a 19 year old male. Relatively healthy. When I got up this morning I noticed that there was some kind of bump on my back in the left shoulder area. It doesn't itch and is not painful, it looks a little raised but flat surface. It's just there and doesn't look like any pimple that I have had. I usually don't get any kind of bumps or acne on my back so it has me worried. Here are two pictures. Sorry about the quality. Hopefully someone can help!

Avatar n tn 17 year old daughter having stomach issues, just got a positive test for celiac, has bad acne, derm wants to put her on accutane. I am worried about the accutane and her stomach. Not sure celiac is only cause of stomach aches. Also birth control pill used to control acne, then she went off and it came back worse than ever. She is back on the pill for almost 3 months and it is not working. Why?
Avatar n tn Well recently I came back from a Holiday in Fiji, the is very hot there and my acne on my right cheek flared up. Big bulgy lumps that were red and very sore. I applied some toothpaste over night and let it sit on the acne only on my cheek. I woke up in the morning and my cheek was very dry, the acne was still a bit bulgy, but the main problem I have now is that my right cheek is red looking and there are greyish blotches on where my acne is/was. Is this a chemical burn?
Avatar m tn I use an oil free non comedogenic foundation, every morning and night I've been taking Doxycycline for somewhere around 6 months now. I've also been using a topical Adapalene 0.1% Cream for about the same amount of time. I've noticed no improvement in my acne. Keeps appearing everywhere, and I've moved to having to add the Adapalene cream on my arms as well. I've only noticed an improvement on my arms. And now I have this boil on my chin. Great.

Avatar m tn I had back acne since my 20's.They get worse in summer and little better in winter.I am 25 now.Since last year this seems to spread to the back of my arm as given in the image I've posted in my profile.I have seen many docs, accutane didn't suite me.The appearance on these pimple/acnes are black and raised. They remain like that for years.I've changed my diet and that seems to help a little. But I am concerned what are those really? Acne/pimple/folliculitis?...
Avatar f tn So about a week ago I noticed that I had bumps on my chest that I just kind of dusted off as sweat bumps (they kind of look like goosebumps). Then one time I went to scratch my back & I noticed that I had bigger bumps on my back along with goosebumps looking bumps, they're a little itchy sometimes. I noticed the bigger bumps on my back about 2 days ago. My mom said I shouldn't worry about it.
4312129 tn?1352635984 I never in my life had an acne problem. Not even when i was a teenager. Please give me advice on how to treat this reaction on my skin. I try to cover it up with makeup but its still evident there's a bunch of tiny bumps all over my face.
