Avatar m tn At that time, the beautician popped my pimples using needles and then she applied some skincare steps. But I saw my face got red and black acne spots. I asked her whether they could disappear or not and then she said yes. She gave me toner, vitamin e cream, and sensitive cream for me to apply on my face. After a period of time, I noticed my face haven't improved that much instead the situation even worse. I saw there is a facial promotion so I decided to do the second time.

Avatar n tn As sufferers know I began to squeeze/pick at pores that were totally fine and generated pimples as a result of the trauma to skin. I break out 3 weeks out of every month, with a respite following the week of my period. When I get stressed I will stand in front of the mirror all night long and be unable to peel myself away from the mirror to go to sleep. Every single pore on my face is analyzed. Nose and cheeks are especially ripped up.
Avatar f tn Is the hormone at puberty a factor as she is producing more oil? How to prevent that from happening? Should I have her use diluted baby soap to wash her eyelids daily? Or some OTC eyelid wipes? Or warm compress twice a day? She has been taking a potent omega-3 capsules the past half year, is this increasing the oil production as well? She is moderately myopic, too:( Thanks.
1288892 tn?1309204616 I realize there are much bigger issues to deal with than pimples (heck-the tumors up and down my spin remind me of that) but I only seem to get acne if my thyroid meds are too low! In fact, acne was the fist sign that something was wrong with me. I haven't had pimples in 16 years, but my endocrinologist was pretty apathetic about it. Fortunately, anouther random MRI found the cancerous tumor in my neck. BLAHBLAHBLAH sorry....
Avatar n tn hey mamas, are any of you suffering from preggers acne? Just curious what you've been using to prevent or keep symptoms down and if it's gone away yet. If it's gone, how far along you were when it left. Thanks.

Avatar n tn Back in the days when I had monthly periods to worry about, I always got pimples... It's called "life" in a body that can produce babies. She'll just have to accept it and find the best way to deal until she gets old enough to stop all of the hormonal fluctuations every month.
Avatar f tn They have the common sense things like do not pick, washed twice a day, if you have oily hair wash everyday, rinse with warm water, and avoid some medications and over the counter products because they can be harmful to the baby. I have not found any home remedies on how to treat acne naturally. About the only thing that I have found is coconut oil but I do not know where to get it.
Avatar f tn There is no real way to avoid pimples. Pimples can be hereditary...which means you have no way of avoiding them. The only thing you CAN do,to lessen the amount, is to avoid sugars, clean your skin often, avoid makeup or anything else that can clog the pores, drink plenty of water, and NEVER EVER squeeze them...that is what leaves the scars. Instead of squeezing them, try applying a hot compress on them...this will soften them up and bring them to a head...causing them to rupture on their own.

Avatar m tn Hi there, Any acne medication takes time to act and it is important to stick to particular regime for significant improvement. You should wash your face with a nonirritating, pH-balanced cleanser to decrease inflammation. Avoid scrubbing the face. Do not pop or pick at pimples. A correct nutritional balance and skin care will be helpful. Drink plenty of water every day. Take 7-8 hours of sleep daily. Have a balanced diet rich in vitamin A, zinc and rich in multivitamins.
Avatar n tn My doc also told me that if that happens to just wash and go a week without shaving there, and everything should fix itself. If it really bothers you, you can go see a doctor, too. Hope this helped!
Avatar m tn I went to this dermatology office. My mom wanted me to get my pimples popped. I really didn't agree because it hurts. But I just went along with it and the lady asked if she can use a chemical to make my skin lose some of the acne. Little did I know the chemical burned my skin harshly. She started to get some pimples out and there was pain. It felt like she didn't even find any pimples and she was just picking at my skin.
