If I were to have a mastectomy, since I weigh only 115 lbs, how would it be done? I think I'm too thin for the stomach muscle type (tramflap). There's not much available on my derriere either. Do surgeons ever maintain your breast skin, removing the tissue underneath and then put in the implant? I would think this could be done as an ina dn out procedure and look okay. Has anyone had this doen?

Hi all, Recently I had decided to have breast implants from Lakeview surgery centre in Barrie. And while the mammogram screening, it was detected that I have breast cancer. I was stumbled for a moment when I got to hear this news. The moment I heard this, my mind went blank and I don't even remember whatever the doctor had said. How can I be so careless?! I had all those signs and symptoms, a cancer patient should have. I didn't even share this with my husband and kids.
The risks are very low and they feel more like real breast. I to will be getting implants after the expanders have done thier work. But I am getting gummy implants. They are fairly new to the US but have been used in Canada and abroad for years. They feel fabulous and the contents are like gummy bear material. But again if I had to choose between silicone or saline I would choose silicone every time. My PS says they are safe.
Do any of you have implants and have breastfed? I'm wondering how difficult it will be.
You should not have gone for breast implants. See, not everyone are good candidates for breast implants. The surgeon will conduct some physical examinations and then only he allows you to get breast implants. I think you were not a good candidate. It might be the problem while conducting the above mentioned physical examinations that made you a good candidate. A dear friend of mine has had breast augmentation few years back.
I Had a breast augmentation (Gel Implant) 14 years ago. I am still happy with them but have been told they only last 10 years and will need to be replaced. This worries me as I cant afford another operation! Is this True, my surgeon told me they were for life as long as I didn´t get any complications!
I know the prices can be so different but I was curious about that too... also if by chance I do have more kids (reallllly dont plan on it) how would it effect breast feeding because I wouldn't want to do anything selfish and mess it up for my maybe future children (like I said really don't plan on it)

I'm about 7 weeks pregnant and spotting brown blood. I have no cramps, just spotting. I found out I was pregnant at 4 weeks and was spotting (brown) blood then. I've been to the doctor twice and have had 2 ultrasounds and blood work.. The last ultrasound was great, strong heartbeat and the blood work showed good levels. I'm curious if anyone else has gone through this through this? They tell me not to worry, but it's hard not to.
Clonidine is a blood pressure med as you know, and you really need to make sure you do not take too much or too often. I didn't weigh much more than you when I started detox and I have sense thrown my empty bottle away, so I can't help you there, just try to find out from your Dr. I read one article on the narcotic bowel syndrome last night, it sure makes so much sense to me!!! Oh,my gosh!!!
I have a 6 year old daughter that I wanted to breast feed, which was obviously before the implants but I never produced milk. So if you are unable to produce, it probably has nothing to do with the implants, maybe it's just your body. I'm trying to be hopeful that this time around I will produce but so far I haven't leaked anything so I'm just thinking there is something wrong with me, lol.
Could I practice sports? And how to resolve problem of disproportion – left nipple “looks” up, and the right on – “down”? Do you think if revisionary surgery (because of bottoming out that had place last week and asymmetry) will be necessary?
