Avatar f tn Now all the pollen is out and my eyes are really itchy and red and I have a hard time seeing at work. I tried taking Atarax last night to see if that would help more than Benadryl. Big mistake since I woke up broke out in bad hives. I had to wait to get home to take benadryl since I am not 100% certain that Benadryl does not give me hives. Also, I figured out I cannot even take some pills like Pepcid for heartburn because they cause hives all over me and are very itchy hives.

How exactly does that work? I thought it was just some kind of medicine they gave you through an IV but a friend said something about them sticking a needle up there. Im a little freaked out, could someone please explain it to me?
Avatar f tn I haven't posted in a while and am wondering if anyone can help me with this because I can't find this answer anywhere... How does Oraquick work? I know it checks for antibodies and I know there are antigens on the test. My question is how do they create the antigens?Do they create a whole virus and then pull the antigen out of it? Where on the test are these antigens located? Are they on the T line? I have many fears regarding hiv but one of them is this test!
