hormone

393685 tn?1425812522 PTH is the hormone chemical coming from the parathyroid glands to trigger the bones to give calcium to the blood. A high reading of it or calcium in the blood indicates the glands are overworking, or hyper. I know an ademona on the gland can throw off everything, so bloodwork and/or tests can come back okay and there can still be a problem. You're probably going to end up having to see an endo, no matter what. Especially since you have thryoid issues.
Avatar f tn Doctor: Dec. 2004 I rec'd complete thyroidectomy with subsequent RI. 6 weeks post-surgery I began to develop hypo symptoms on 100 mcg. Avatar f tn There has been research done on this topic...and yes, hormonal fluctuations affect our gi systems. This is why so many women who are NOT suffering from IBS or any other GI issues will notice increased BMs, looser stool, etc. I remember I always did years before I ever had IBS, but really didn't give it much thought..just accepted it as part of the monthly symptoms. I remember hating the way it made me feel though . Little did I know that in the future.....

Avatar n tn s since I was 19 and I have done a lot of research and experiments with them. I have noticed that caffeine, stress, excitement, exercise and alcohol all trigger PVC's for me. All of these also increase adrenaline. Another thing that makes me think it could be hormone related is that about a year and a half ago I went vegan. While I was vegan I had no constipation or PVC's. I suffer from severe constipation. Our diary and meat are full of hormones.
