Everyday I have horrible heartburn I wake up everymorning feeling sick to my stomach and I have frequent bowel movements with soft shapless stools and when I wipe there is blood on the toilet paper this has been going on for about 7 to 12 months...
I just wanted to put this out there....if you have constant heartburn after your thyroidectomy, or even if you still have your thyroid, please get it checked out. I finally went in and had an endoscopy because of the heartburn following my thyroid surgery last December. It wasn't cronic or horrible, but it was coming and going and I thought I should have it checked. Well, today I found out that I have suspicious pre-cancerous cells at the bottom of my esophogus and into my stomach.
My symptoms are caused by one of three things. 1. Hiatal Hernia 2. Circopharyngeal Spasm or 3. Symptoms of my untreated Gerd. I will treat my Gerd for 60 days and I'm told by many if symptoms have not gone away or nearly disappeared I can rule that out. I myself am leaning toward the Circopharyngeal Spasm as my symptoms worsen as the day goes on and is not noticeable in the morning. Do you find the lump in your throat feeling worsens as the day progresses mark?
He has mentioned nosebleeds lately (not excessive but more than none, which he had before) He is complaining about heartburn, He is complaining about urinating in the nighttime, headaches seem to be more frequent, he is taking a ton of tylenol for aches and pains. He is a construction worker so it is a very physical job, he is never sitting. He has also been complaining of the TV or computer being dark, (I dont think so).
Try eating some crackers and maybe drink a little of a carbonated beverage then try drinking water. Peppermint mints/gum also help soothe my tummy and heartburn when I would get nauseous, I've never puked every time I've gotten close I just chew a mint or gum and it passes.
Currently i am 45 years old, having some heartburn symptoms. My doctor says if some over the counter medicine don`t improve my symptoms, I may need to be cautious and this may lead to a more serious condition as my family past medical history. Should I become concerned if I still experience throat irritation and some cough but no stomach pain at all due to stomach acids?
I constantly have to clear my throat and sometimes get a slight case of heartburn but not too often. I have mild bronchiectasis and my lung specialist has heard the noise but thought it could be a hernia yet my gp says it would have shown in the ct. My gp has not listened to the noise despite my asking 4 separate times. I am worried what it is as I am sure this is not normal. I am convinced it is GERD and searching for advice on treatment and if my symptoms sound similar to someone.
I remember that shortly afterwards I suffered from difficulties sleeping, irritability, chronic fatigue, restlessness and recurring earinfections (that were left untreated). This continued til the age of seventeen when I developed severe depression, extensive insomnia and eventually chronic derealization. t have heartburn and very infrequently have symptoms of what I think could be reflux. I was prescribed 20mg omeprazole about two years ago for the infrequent acid reflux, which I thought was occurring as a side effect of the adderall I was prescribed to help with the fatigue. One month ago I started this feeling in my throat as if something is stuck Can't lay down it gets worse Have no heartburn The only other symptons are my chest feels like I'm haveing a heartattack and my middle back hurts. Welcome to the Forum. I'll try to help. The exposures you describe are unlikely to have given you gonorrhea or other STD. High risk or not, condom protected sex is safe sex, making infection most unlikely. Further, as far as ejaculation is concerned, the situation you describe does not bring to mind any STD, particularly with negative tests. Your 8 week test results provide virtually definitive evidence that you do not have gonorrhea or other STDs as the cause of your discharge.
Hello. I'm just wondering what would happen if an STD is left untreated? particularly herpes? And what tests should i take? And is it possible that herpes heals on its own over time?

Somehow I think I've managed to let a pretty bad case of acid reflux go untreated for at least several years or who knows how long (I'm 30 years old) and I've been attributing my symptoms to other things. What are the chances that I may have developed erosion or esophageal cancer at my age with untreated GERD? Can anyone else relate? I'm very concerned because I've never had an endoscopy done yet.
Fullness after small meal (early satiety) is usually due to gastroparesis (delayed gastric emptying). I had this condition from untreated Hashimoto’s thyroiditis (autoimmune hypothyroidism). At my worst I was full for the rest of the day after one bite! I would bloat up and look pregnant after I ate. I remember vomiting 10 hours after I ate and bacon was still in my stomach. Bacon should be fully digested by around 4 hours.
about a week ago i was having heartburn problems so i added some baking soda to some water and drank it but the next day i was feeling really lightheaded when i stood up and i was constipated so i took some magnesium citrate and it cleared me all out. i still have the lightheadedness when i stand up and it effects the whole body, almost like my body wants to give out on me.
ve had a lot of drainage, aches around my eye area and in cheek/ nose area, swollen/ feeling as if somthing is stuck in my throat, pain in one ear or both, sharp pains down throat usaully same side as the ear, heartburn,, stomach pain at the top of the stmoach and bloating. Is this a sinus infection or somthing else?
