Avatar n tn Since the attack I quit smoking and have been taking these drugs, but have been unwell almost everyday, suffering heartburn or chest contractions or some other stomach or chest pains or depression. I visited many doctors and had various checks and echos and analysis and was told that I am ok and was advised not to take alternative medicines!

Avatar f tn I got Riba rash about 3 months into tx...for me, this is one of the worse things that could have happened, aside from "sudden death." I do not do well at not scratching an itch...it's driving me over the edge. The benadryl the dr. recommened is topical...a lotion, gel or cream to rub onto the rash. I had some success with Claritin...orally, a couple times a day as the itching started in again. Good luck, girlfriend.
Avatar f tn I use yogurt when heartburn bothers me, maybe a cup and a half. My doctor recommends Apple cider cover mixed with water.

Avatar m tn Hi and welcome to the forum. Without u saying how much and how long u r taking the meds it is difficulte to speculate. In doing some reading I found u should only take 2 tablets in a 24 hr period...and with plenty of water. And if u do not have results in 2 weeks u should stop the meds and see ur dr. Sometimes a dr will rx for u to take the meds differently than reccommended by the manufactuer. Again, u should speak with ur dr. The duration u r on the drug and dosage is very important.
Avatar f tn One night, with fever and pain in upper soft area of the back of inside of the mouth, I found more swellings in the same area. I took a cold medicine with antiinflammatory. A wk ago, all of sudden, I had a pain in left side of thyroid area when I touched it even very slightly.
