Avatar f tn I thought i had crazy heartburn to the point i was having trouble breathing so i went to emerge and it turned out i have a gallstone and was having a gallbladder attack. If i was not pregnant i would have had surgery to remove my gallbladder the same day. The pain was similiar to heartburn, burning sensation except it didn't rise above my breast bone. It was excruiating. I felt stupid thinking it was only heartburn when it was something much more serious.
Avatar n tn 37 weeks pregnant and the last two days I've been having a really difficult time breathing. I woke up last night feeling like my air supply was completely cut off. Today no matter if I'm standing, sitting, or lying down I still can't breath and feel pressure in my throat and chest. I know this is suppose to be normal but how do you get through it?!
Avatar f tn No stretch marks, only gained 5 pounds but what I do have is back pains and trouble breathing sometimes. Other than that I'm good.
Avatar f tn He tells me that it is all due to anxiety and that I just need to calm down and try not to focus on my breathing and gasp so much, because that will only make it worse. And although my shallow breathing does consistently start up in places and situations that make me anxious, such as school, it also starts up in situations where I feel perfectly fine, even happy...Like when I am laughing with my friends or watching a movie.

Avatar f tn ) perfectly normal, your internal organs are moving up towards your stomach now and that tends to lead to heartburn and A LOT of women say trouble breathing as well. The other symptoms really are based off of your hormones, and the changes your body is making for your sweet little one. However you can always talk to your doctor to ease your concerns.
Avatar f tn Yes I'm 33 weeks and have trouble breathing now too. I also have heartburn and insomnia. I'm tired just can't fall asleep. I take tums for the heartburn and works for me.
Avatar m tn About three weeks ago I started having trouble breathing. Nothing too serious, just took more effort than a normal breath. The air would almost feel humid as it was breathed in. These episodes would vary between moderate and hardly noticeable. Another symptom was a feeling of swelling in a part of the throat (Voice box area), though they do not always come together. It seems that more recently it has become worse, and its making me nervous.
Avatar f tn It can come and go and that would explain why, you had a normal breathing test and your doctor did not hear the classical wheezes. The asthma was in remission. You may need further exams. The pulmonary specialist will almost certainly be able to sort-out these various considerations.
Avatar n tn I find I get outa breath going up and down stairs and belly cramps are bothersome. Sometimes in bed I can't breathe a little too. I have asthma but I rarely have an attack and I hear the inhalers are bad for babies so I won't take it. Is this normal?
Avatar f tn I've had trouble breathing for the past two months and I also get very dizzy and lightheaded. It feels like it stops at the top of my chest and doesn't go down to my lungs. Kind of like when you have to yawn, but can't and can only get halfway through it. I can't take deep breaths, the air doesn't feel like it can get through. Sometimes, I am able to take one good breath and I instantly feel better, but I'm never able to take two good breaths in a row.

Avatar f tn Since having my Wisdome teeth removed, zero major infections since (8 years) but the wheezing and difficulty breathing continue and come in waves. Food does seem to bother it, especially pizza on the rarity we do eat it. This daughter looks like she got all my dominant chromosomes and the other, who looks like Momma, has zero issues thus far, infact never had to go to hospital outside of check ups....
Avatar m tn Well I know that before I started getting anxiety, I went to the doctor for having trouble breathing, the doctors believed it was acid reflux. This can cause trouble breathing and soreness as you said. Once again acid reflux is also a symptom of anxiety. So this is really when I first started to know I had anxiety.
Avatar n tn Hello, I am in need of a little medical advice. You see I have been working around some hazardous solvents and chemicals for a little over 4 years now and I am starting to have difficulty breathing and shortness of breath. Avatar f tn he has gained and worries about that. However, he is also noticing trouble breathing and blames it on the synthroid. I have had the same procedure done and am on 137 Synthoid. However, have not experienced any breathing problems. Is this possible that the meds are doing it to him? This discussion is related to FDA changes label/adverse effects of Synthroid.
Avatar f tn I am 28 weeks 6 days and I just can't breath! I've tried laying on my left side and it doesn't help. Even sitting up it feels like I'm smothering. I want to say 80 percent of my day I'm having issues with this. Between the leg cramps and breathing issues I'm not getting any sleep. Anyone else having problems? What helps?
Avatar f tn Its normal but you should still have your doctor check your heart and breathing just to have peace of mind. I honestly felt my worse when i felt so cramped at 27-28 weeks and thankfully i felt like my baby bump stretched out and downward giving me space up top again to feel like i can breathe normally again. Hang in there, you'll get through it before you know it. Try finding a sitting position where you feel relief.
