i have blood and mucus in my stool - began with green stool, went to grayish diarrhea, now thin bowel movements with the blood and mucus. there is enough blood to see but not enough to change the water color in the bowl.(I am a 45 year old woman.

Now, i seem to have 1-2 semi solid bms in the morning and maybe 1 solid bm in the evening. My stomach used to rumble a lot but less now. The color of the stool is lighter and more yellow than normal. I have no other symptoms and all blood tests were clear of infection. I never had any pain or discomfort. Its the color that concerns me. Any thoughts on this? I am just getting my anxiety under control finally.

I have been diagnosed with gastritis and gal stones as being the root of the problems. This morning I went to the bathroom and my stool was green and brown in color, but some was coated in a yellow liquid. Should I be concerned? re not feeling gradually better by the middle of next week, visit a free clinic, usually listed in the phone book under your county health department, and have them draw blood and do a stool sample to see if you have a bacteria, which they can give you antibiotics for that. if you have a virus, they just let it run its course, about a 10-day timeframe. s been acting up for around 3 weeks-burpy, baggy feeling in throat-went to ENT and gastro and ENT said she thinks its gerd-she did a scope of my larynx and saw redness and post nasal drip (the latter of which ive had most of my life). They didnt do any radiology tests on him, just blood work and a stool sample. We have to wait at least 48 hours to get the stool sample results to find out if it could be a bacterial infection. His blood tests showed low platelet levels but his blood was clotting very fast while they were trying to draw blood for testing and his IV blew out because of a blood clot even though here had fluids going.

Yes, but I see according to your question the last date your pet was examined by a vet was today. That's good. I assume they took a stool sample and checked it along with some blood work. Secondly Acid reflux gives you very bad stomach ache and usually lasts for a short time and you can possible be sick with it but feel much better straight away without diarroe and sickness ectr. So, ya. I definitely see the anxiety coming out in your post. First of all, eggs can cause issues but really in the real world? Don't. I doubt eggs had anything to do with your situation. I have had food poisoning and yea, it's terrible. But you saw a doctor who said no. Yes, you had something but unlikely food poisoning. Could have simple gastroenteritis. Blood in stool looks like coffee grounds.

Since then the diarrhea is not how it was before, but my stool is still very loose and in smaller pieces. It is also sort of mucus-like. I also get excessive gas that ends up odorless... like I'm full of just air. It is sometimes moving around so fiercely in my stomach that it is very loud and I can feel it almost in my back. I also have mucus during a lot of these passings. My diet and lifestyle have not changed, and I am relatively healthy.
