Two years ago I came down with a mild flu which I passed onto my mother, at the end of it's duration we both ended up with Fibromyalgia, did my mother catch Fibro from me or is it just a co-incidence and seeing as we got it from a virus should we both get tested for the XMRV virus

In other words quite high, that should warrant treatment immediately, in my opinion, though my dumb doctors won't put me on treatment yet. But I'm going to fight them and insist that I need antiviral treatment.
I live in Reno. But lived in tahoe half my life. It does get chilly down there but id rather be cold than hot. And you wont start to feel hot hot untill later on in your pregnancy. And atleast its not Reno right. Lol I dont even go outside. Kind of wished I could move up there for my pregnancy.

I would love to find that kind of dr but i dont know where to begin,i tred reno with no luck the dr im seeing now is in utah but i see him one more time and then he is retiring so i have to find a new dr again..maybe you could help me research i will go to salt lale city or twin falls idaho rene if we ould find one there...
It is a Rheumatologist who you must see for a fibromyalgia diagnosis and if positive,consequent treatment follows, prescribed normally by the Rheumatologist.

There are many thoughts and ideas on it, however, nothing has been scientifically proven/discovered. There also are no specific blood tests, scans, etc., for diagnosing fibromyalgia = there ARE certain critieria that need to be met before a true fibro diagnosis.
