Avatar f tn m asking the right department as I went up to see a neurologist and he tested my reflexes and asked if I lost control of my bowels and bladder and then looked into my eyes and told me it wasn't Epilepsy and I would have to put up with the Fainting/Blacking Out. I would really like some suggestions that I could ask my own GP what she thinks as I'm at the end of my tether with fainting/Blacking Out.
434240 tn?1216392070 I almost peed my pants i the car. Can you believe it? ugh!! I hate the bladder control problems that come with pregnancy. one thing i remember doing with my first two little girls was I wore pantyliners just in case. It was enough to keep mishaps like yours from dampening my pants. I know the feeling.

Avatar f tn I have had NO bladder control for 2 weeks. Just started getting it back a little 2 days ago when I stopped coughing as much as I was. Still wearing incontinence pads as a precaution, but don't change them nearly as much as I was. Last ounce of dignity... Gone.
210982 tn?1280983895 it cam out of no where. Plus I thought I read something about narcotics and bladder issues and I do have spinal issues too...but thx for the info.
Avatar f tn No. Sometimes child birth can cause issues with your pelvic floor and bladder. I would try to strengthen your pelvic floor. Do this with kegels. https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/322720 They also have yoga for pelvic floor strengthening. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-GXAbagnZrE And talk to your doctor. They may recommend you see a physical therapist that specializes in helping with this . There is also more invasive surgical things they can do. But you are not alone.
Avatar f tn if I laugh too much I get pretty close to peeing myself, but so far I've been able to keep control of my bladder.
Avatar f tn Me too. My symptoms have changed from nausea to sudden dizziness/headaches and feeling weight around my bladder area (I've been upgraded to 13wks Wednesday from 12+1wk on Tuesday). I have gained between 1 and 2kg (which is normal range). Apparently we are meant to gain an additional 5.4kg in the second trimester!!! Yikes!
Avatar m tn Uncontrollable erections in sleep are called as nocturnal emissions, and they are quiet common in men of all ages. Some patient’s wake up and have a control on it, while some others have an erection while they are asleep. It is not considered abnormal and is not a side effect of use of flomax.

I just did a holter monitor for 24 hours and have yet to get the results. I feel more dizzy when i stand and walk. Its worse after a meal and at night. Its worse when i close my eyes. I feel as though Im standing in a small boat in the middle of the ocean and the waves are rocking me and am trying to catch myself.
Avatar f tn Hi, How are you? Seizures or epilepsy is a manifestation in the disturbance in the electrical activity of the brain. This affects the brain's normal functions and produces changes in a person's movement, behavior or consciousness.
Avatar m tn I can tell you, I feel this so often. It's called Panic Disorder. Some people don't know they have this common form of anxiety but when it strikes, it's alarming; especially if you've never experienced it before. The sweating, stomach pain, fainting and breathlessness is all relative to panic attacks. You should look into it a little more...
Avatar m tn This then causes issues with the ureters and kidney and bladder and can lead to leaking. Also, has he had his prostate checked? A larger than usual prostate can cause leaking and the larger prostate could be caused by cancer obviously but also from benign prostatic hyperplasia. MS can cause it, alzheimers and parkinsons. But that he simply had a stroke is enough. It's not uncommon, unfortunately, post stroke.
Avatar f tn I am having a little issue with bladder control but it is light and this is my third child. I usually wear a pad which helps. I would consult with your doctor to make sure it is not something else. The one thing I can stress is not to limit your water intake, it very important you get enough for the baby's amniotic fluid to be replenished.

Avatar f tn I have supposedly a nuerogenic bladder, bowel-constipation issues, random tremors, muscle jerking, my aunt has MS, and I have had two nuerologists that are so cold. I am going to see a new one but they thought I was crazy. I had tilt table testing and found I have a serious case of nuerocardiogenic syncope and I am exercise intolerant. I started to faint before I got on the treadmill. I found I had ptosis in my right eye a month ago.
Avatar f tn I am 27 weeks and had a fainting spell. After I woke up, I discovered I had vomited and lost control of my bowels. Is this ever normal with fainting or is it a sign of something else like siezure? I have had other fainting spells while pregnant but never other symptoms. I am concerned.
Avatar m tn Hi , I was relieved when I discovered someone else suffers the same symptoms of IBS as me, I too often end up fainting & collapsing on the floor after a painful episode of IBS, luckily I have never injured myself, sometimes the stomach cramps are so painful, I feel faint and weak & I get diahorea & cannot control my bowels and I end up going to toilet on the floor, because I recognise the signs I always try to prepare myself before it happens by quickly going to the bat
Avatar n tn Have you spoken to your daughter about starting her on birth control? I know it wont stop the fainting, nausea and cold sweats but it should help with the heavy periods, hair and acne. Some women are just born with more testosterone thus causing darker thicker hair. Birth control has different side effects for each woman however it cleared up my face, lightened and regulated my periods, helped me loose weight and made me generally happier. Try speaking to your doctor about this.
