No, I was off the cortef for 2 weeks prior to testing. Yes, it shows a normal rhythm, but the morning levels are WAY too low. Optimal cortisol levels for morning should be at the upper end of the range so a person has energy to get out of bed. I have no idea if I'm primary or secondary and I've never had an ACTH test. I refuse to see endos because they have no training in adrenal fatigue.

When I took another sample, there were sloughed epithelial sheets in the sediment. The sheets were fairly thick, not one-cell thick. Maybe they were from the distal urethra? They cannot be from the labia.
If you feel you must time ovulation, I would suggest your efforts would be more fruitful using a relatively inexpensive ($35-$40) urine ovulation prediction kit, and start testing on or about cycle day 11. Have intercourse the day the urine test is positive, and the day after. Far more accurate than ferning.
The most fertile couples have only a 25% - 30% pregnancy rate each month, so it is far to early for you to be concerned and seek out a doctor.

It is hard to predict. The higher levels of estrogen may promote the midcycle LH surge, which is what urine OPKs look for. If this happens, the surge might come a couple of days earlier. This is called positive feedback. On the other hand, the higher estrogen levels my inhibit LH (this is called negative feedback) delaying the surge. You will need to test for ovulation to find out.
Hi. I'm 23yrs old and sexually active. I've missed 3 periods now (I never skip periods) and continue to get false reads on urine pregnancy tests. I'm also tired all the time, I've gained weight, I have breast tenderness, and cramping/gas issues. I went to my OBGYN and she also gave me a pregnancy test that was negative. She prescribed estrogen for five days to induce a period and that hasn't worked either.

I took a saliva test to test my Estrogen levels (Estradiol) and I'm confused about the results. I'm sure its just a conversion thing but I can't seem to find any information on it.
I have read that a normal Estradiol range for men is between 20 pg/ml and 40 pg/ml, however my numbers look a little different and I'm not sure how to compare.
I had a 24 hours urine test done, and a test to check my petuitary glands (which was, they gave me prednisone to take at 11:00pm, and get a blood test the next morning. They said the pituitary gland was fine and no tumors.
I don't think they did an estrogen test, I had a hysterectomy when I was 23 and have gone through menopause.
That's the only things I know of except for CBC and the regular tests, I do have pre-diabetes and hypothiorodism.
please do a urine for pregnancy test or serum HCG levels test to rule out any pregnancy due to contraceptive failure. Alternately, you can also use aimstrip urine for pregnancy test which is highly sensitive and can detect pregnancy after 10-12 days of conception.
If pregnancy is completely ruled out, then the possibility of hormonal imbalance is high. In that case, it is advisable to wait for three cycles with ortho tricyclen pills.

ve had a negative uti test that turned positive with the second test they do on the same urine sample. I have never heard of having to cath you in order to get a urine sample to test it. But I'm not a doctor so I guess you have to trust what they are telling you. Stinks though. I had a negative test and my doctor went ahead and treated with cipro and it was two days later that they called that the results turned positive over time.
