I have already ovulated last week according to monitor but it keeps telling me to test. When I do test it comes out low fertility. If I am pregnant would estrogen be high enough to be detected as a high value instead of a low value?

I was taking both + BeePolen then my Doc told me that my estrogen level is high. Do you think that those played a role to increase my estrogen level?

nt make sense at all, and the doctor was so cold and blunt.. My daughter Sarah had another blood test today and will have an ultrasound tomorrow to rule out overian cysts, cancer.. Spoke to a practioner today, she gave us alot of info on ways to increase estrogen/progesterone, and we are a little more hopeful now,.

I used to take flaxseed everyday earlier as i had read it helps to improve frtility but then my new RE asked me to stop with the flaxseed after looking at my test results becos he said flaxseed can cause estrogen dominance and hinder ovulation... t think there have been any studies on if tx effects fertility rates. I do know that interferon inhibits estrogen production and that your periods can get a little messed up during tx. When do you start tx? If you are really worried you could get some eggs frozen if there is enough time.

Hi! I have low estrogen and normal FSH (I'm 38, though). My course of action is to wear an estrogen patch from 3 days after ovulation to 12 days after ovulation (since that's when mine is dropping off). I have heard of (and tried it once, but didn't like how I felt) that the patch can also be worn during CD8-12 to help with low estrogen. My acupuncturist told me that the patch is the most similar to actual estrogen (versus pills) so I pushed for that!

t make sense. i recently switched to another fertility specialist with more experience and when she looked @ my records from the other office, she informed me that my fsh levels are fine! it was my estrogen levels that are high. so what i was wondering was if anybody knew if by me having high estrogen levels, is that going to be an issue for the IVF procedure? i dont know if that's going to affect my ability to have a successful IVF procedure.

My Re also kept me on until week 12. I was on progesterone and estrogen until I was released from him. I think it is good for you to continue to be monitored by your RE. My OB also liked that the RE monitored me for so long bc then they know it is definitely a sustainable pregnancy.

I think you should get a second opinion. Did they also test your estrogen and progesterone levels? Some women do stimulation drugs combined with IUI and achieve pregnancy this way. Because you are so young it would pay to seek another opinion. Best wishes to you.

I was reaading the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility and it dawned on me that this might be our fertility issue. Apparently if prolactin levels are too high it inhibits estrogen making. You need estrogen to make the cervical mucus to concieve. Does anyone else have this problem or any suggestions or comments? I am going to the DR. on Tuesday and would love to be well prepared. Are there any easy remedies?
