Hello, Can anyone describe their experiences with Imiquimod? I am on the 3.75% cream which my doctor has told me to use every other day for a month. In the first 2 weeks, nothing happened, only just a couple days ago I noticed a very slight indication that the medication might be working, but I'm still not sure. I have about 20-30 very small warts, and notice 2 or 3 of them showing a bit of redness and drying up a bit. Still not sure if this is due to the medication.

I was prescribed imiquimod to be applied 3 days a week but heard apple cider vinegar does a great job of clearing warts. Is it a good idea to apply the imiquimod mon,wed, fri night and apple cider vinegar tues, thurs, saturday nights? Anyone tried this or have any results from either one they would share?

getting the vaccine after you've had warts is a little late. typically if you've had warts, we no longer recommend the vaccine. you can discuss with your provider if it's worthwhile getting the vaccine to help prevent future infection with the 2 types associated with oral and genital cancers. will your warts come back? only time will tell.

2, Is it useful for me to use Imiquimod with no genital warts? Or does Imiquimod useful to help me clear the hpv virus in three months? 3, I also have an ulcers on my penis a week ago which can be seen when it's wet (it become white), and it disappear after 5 days. Dear doctors , I have a small genital wart on my foreskin and I started to use imiquimod cream recently . The instruction says that I should use the imiquimod cream during bedtime . However , I have more erections during sleep (than day time ), the imiquimod cream might be wiped off by the underwear when I have an erection. I was prescribed Aldara (imiquimod) to get rid of a few perianal HPV warts since cryotherapy was only making it worse. After only about 2 weeks of usage almost all symptoms of the warts were gone however I now have perianal psoriasis in its place. That is one of the side-effects of imiquimod and it mainly strikes people whom are genetically prone to having psoriasis.

Hi Doctor -- I've got what I think is a pretty unusual case and I'm looking for some guidance. I'm a straight male with no history of any anal sexual exposure. I was recently diagnosed with an anal wart (nothing on my genitals), which obviously shocked me. The doctor agreed it was an odd presentation so he did a biopsy to confirm. The lab confirmed it was a wart during biopsy but apparently felt something looked odd so they did subtype testing as well.
