Common Questions and Answers about Diet direct pharmacy

diet

338489 tn?1215558109 Much is made of medicines which are questionable at best. I have been impressed with the Swank Diet, the MS-Direct website (especially for all the Canadians) and the research on high doses of Vitamin D. It seems that Canada, the U.K. and Germany are far more open to the vitamin and dietary controls of MS. While the diet requires great discipline, it sure beats some of the other options. I would like to see your opinions on these comments and what any of you have done with diet.
Avatar n tn Is it safe to purchase viagra from a Canadian Pharmacy..
Avatar f tn Diet pills won't work by themselves - you will need to eat sensibly and moderate exercise. In addition, most often any weight lost with diet pills usually comes back once you go off them. You will need to make changes that will sustain you over the long haul. Would love to see you take twehner5's advice and check out some of the journals and posts from others who have been successful. And don't let her fool you, twehner5 has done quite well for herself too.
Avatar f tn Sorry, I have to disagree with you - the reason a theory is considered valid is because it's been through clinical trials. Copaxone and Betaseron both have been through numerous clinical trials before being approved for human consumption. Now, about the diet. Keep in mind that any high-protein diet that's low in fat will be good for you. This also means it's good for your MS. Think of your body as a car.
Avatar f tn Thats what i did and he gave a direct opinion of his which i follow.
Avatar f tn hi TAVL, the thing about lesions and our brain can be confusing. I have a large load of lesions, but few serious symptoms from them. It is all about location. There is a lot of prime real estate in our brains that is never used - it is sitting there in case our brain needs to rewire itself but is not in an active use state. We know that MS never stops progressing - we just don't always see evidence of that progression. What you're saying gives proof to that.
Avatar m tn They have prescribed me a suppository called a Rectal Rocket. They have to be made by a Compound Pharmacy. These have made my life soooooooooooo much easier. I use them at bed time and they work on the inside as well as the outside of the rectum. Quite large, but worth it. Granted, I still have had my share of discomfort and episodes, but they really help. I also found that using good old A & D Ointment really helps as well. it should, it's made for baby's.
Avatar f tn I am a little nervous about taking these pills from compounding pharmacy. Can anyone offer many any insight as to what exactly this is? Taken it? Had any successes or nightmares? Any info would be helpful in deciding whether to pursue this. Current Endo doesn't believe in T3! Imagine that! I hadn't been able to afford to go back to the one who prescribed Armour and Cytomel, but have made arrangements to see him in late december.
Avatar m tn I live in the Los Angeles area, can anyone at all direct me to a pharmacy near the down town La area that takes medical and has these medications? thank you...
Avatar f tn m hoping I can find a way to avoid throwing up. And is there a direct cause to this that I can avoid? Going through a normal routine with what I like to call "bile burps" is very uncomfortable because I'll be having a normal conversation and I'll burp then cringe because of the taste and people think I'm in pain our something.
Avatar m tn Under normal circumstances, there seem to be many heart health benefits to a plant based diet, yet I am concerned that shifting to more green foods will increase clotting factors, which is undesirable considering I have 2 new stents installed. I would like to know if this is an issue as some investigation suggests that Plavix works by a different mechanism than other blood thinners which are known to be affected by Vitamin K in green leafy plants.
2017859 tn?1331098401 I have finally gone and applied for disability. I use to work as a pharmacy technician. It has been made clear to me that my condition is not going to improve anytime soon and that any job with a strict work schedule will not suit me. I have to call out often and usually with short notice due to my migraines. I'm trying to pull myself up and redirect my life. What jobs are available that would be more flexible with the work schedule?
1307298 tn?1305946851 I'm considering going on the Best Bet diet (as described on direct-ms.org). This post isn't meant to start a debate on whether or not the diet is good or effective. Rather, I'd like to hear from those who have tried or are on the diet and any tips they can give or any recipes / resources they found helpful.
1046633 tn?1253698728 I am not certain but I believe the CDC can help you find an assistance program and I read a post a few months back on another forum that their Pharmacy-I don't know the name but it is Nation wide can direct you to a source. Hope this helps. Have you communicated this back to your physician? Best of luck, wish I had more to help you with-maybe some member will be able to help you more. God Bless .
Avatar n tn I'd direct your questions to the drug store that fills your prescription or the doctor(s) who ordered these drugs to you. None of us are qualified to give you an answer. That said, I've taken all the drugs except fluoxitine together for quite a few years with no problems.
446049 tn?1649005835 //www.webmd.com/diabetes/diabetes-diet-exercise That link talks about diet and exercise ideas. Your doctor didn't recommend any metformin alternatives? https://diabetes.org/health-wellness/medication/oral-other-injectable-diabetes-medications This is a good article (copy and paste) that lists ALL options. This as well https://www.goodrx.com/metformin/metformin-alternatives-for-diabetes. I take it you were on a generic metformin? Was it a different maker each time?
Avatar n tn Hi, I am hoping some of you maybe able to help me out with some of your knowledge. I reside in Fort Lauderdale and since the gov't no longer allows pain clinics to continue with their in-house pharmacy I am disturbed grately as I do not have insurance and meds supplied at the clinc are much cheaper than regular pharmacys. I have no insurance & one place quoted me $6/pill compared to $2.50 in-house.
Avatar f tn The compound pharmacy just called me and she said that she has recommened to my doctor that I should start with compounded Armour 15mg. But, Armour is T3/T/4 and everything you on the forum have told me and everything I have read suggests I take T3. My lab results are T4, Free Direct 1.02 0.61 - 1.76 TSH 0.942 0.450 - 4.500 Free T3 2.
Avatar n tn t get Exelon, contact the manufacturer direct. They will then authorize a drop ship to your pharmacy. The pharmacy just has to call for it.
Avatar f tn Direct sunlight toughens up the nipples too. Exposing them for 5min everyday will help.
Avatar m tn my direct bilirubin level is 0.5mg/dl.
