These same trigger points contribute to the pain of tennis elbow and send pain to the second knuckles of the third and fourth fingers. Woke the other morning with both hands, palms and fingers tingling like they were trying to wake up. Thought I slept on them wrong. Some of the common symptoms of irritation or pinched nerves in the neck are headache, sinusitis, dizziness, painful ear and face, shoulder and arm pain and/or tingling, hand and finger numbness and tingling, difficult breathing and chest pain, throat discomfort. In fact, tension headaches most commonly occur when tightening muscles further restrict and irritate nerves that go to the head or control blood vessels that supply the head. I hope this helps some.
Located centrally around the sternum, lft/right side of sternum and upper chest, below base of throat.; I have been made aware of a tingling 'nerve' like pain somewhere around my left shoulder/arm pit, which radiates down my arm to my middle two fingers!? When I massage the area and my arm, I can not locate the nerve to releave it. Shortly after feeling very unwell, I took 1 ranitindine tab 150mg to releave acid - which did after 20 mins. I tooko a lie down for about 1 hour also.
