Common Questions and Answers about Chest pain protocol

chest

Avatar n tn I had a heart cath and the blockage was 35% I still have mild chest pain when under stress.
Avatar m tn Is there a nutritional protocol for the elimination of serratus anterior muscle pain?
Avatar m tn Also her activity level has decreased largely, having trouble sleeping, mild chest pain when exercising (although he does very light exercising). It bothers me very much since most people are expected to perform normal activity in 3 months after surgery but she seems to be like the person who just got the surgery. what is happening to her? is it like a post-op acute condition? or something went bad?
Avatar m tn The seriousness would depend on your symptoms such as chest pain, shortness of breath, etc. and degree of blockage, number of blockages, location, etc. Sometimes there is unsatifactory response to medication and the condition requires a stent, and if stent cannot be implanted due to occluded location, size ,etc. then a bypass would be the treatment. I have occluded vessels for years and effectively treated with mediation...I feel well and no side effects, etc.
486822 tn?1208800499 Everything else appears to be normal, but there may be a slight impairment to blood flow in the anteropical segment. If the chest pain is related to the heart (I assume other causes have been ruled out), a cath would be the proper protocol for a diagnosis.
Avatar n tn s workload can/will decrease shortness of breath, and a nitrate that quickly (or slow acting) and specifically targets the coronary arteries can/will dilate those vessel and relieve chest pain (angina).
Avatar n tn A while back you or whoever was answering questions here then said maybe I should get a chest CT for my atypical chest pain in light of a normal stress test. My chest pain is upper central, and sometimes throbbing with every heartbeat. I think you were worried about my aorta, and I also wonder if something else discreet within the structures of my heart could be missed by the CTX. My question is, what type of scan protocol should I request.
Avatar f tn 4 cholestorol , shortness of breath of climbing stairs in particular , chest discomforts - pain , and am overweight , do not smoke or drink ,so far the test have come back ok - only just confirming the ectopic's - so it is really frustrating - as I live with all this daily - and feel like I must be a hypercondriact because nothing is found :-(((
Avatar n tn If there is one taking a new chronic pain patient ask them if you can sign a pain contract. In addition you should only need to be seen every 3 months for a medication follow up. As them if there is any chance of a reduced fee based on your finances. If you did not speak with the first doctor about this prior to going to detox that should have been something you did. I am really sorry this is happening to you. It all seems like such a crazy mess.
Avatar n tn Taking a deep breath isnt really difficult and I dont feel short of breath but I definitely seem to feel discomfort in my chest similar to a chest cold
Avatar f tn I have been treating this disease with the Marshall Protocol with great success for 2 years, and am able to get by with intermittent mild pain and no pain meds. I need to stay off pain meds because of liver issues. My devastating migraines completely disappeared once I started the Protocol. Go to www.curemyth1.com or www.marshallprotocol.com for more information. They can help you heal and wean off from your pain meds.
Avatar n tn Ever since I had carotid artery surgery four weeks ago, I have pain (similar to ice cream headaches) when I swallow. It seems to originate near my right jaw and ear and radiates from there. Could I have been injured with the incubator tube during surgery, or could it have been caused by the surgery itself? Thanks.
Avatar n tn If there were, or there is a problem with occluded coronary arteries usually there is chest pain with exertion, could be chest pain without exertion, or no chest pain, so symptoms or no symptoms does not rule out CAD. Usually chest pain dictates treatment!. The further dx that was recommended but not done was a cath angioplsty (that would be normal protocol for further testing after a stress test) and a stent to open the vessel/vessels.
Avatar f tn i was addicted for 7 years and am 15 days clean. good for you for wanting to get off this ****!!! i don't know about the chest pain. that may be something you want to have looked at. just in case. i do have other body aches, that seem unusual but i keep pushing through. hope someone comes on and responds to you, someone who has had similiar syptoms. did you look at the "thomas recipe" in the health pages, that and the amino acid protocol.
Avatar f tn My 11 year old female Yorkshire Terrier was diagnosed via a needle biopsy to have a mast cell tumor on the chest. Surgical removal to biopsy it was recommended to further diagnosis and recommend treatment. Since that visit, I had her hair cut (since it was very long and difficult to find the original mass) so I could body check her. I found two more lumps on her chest that seem suspicious to me. If these are cancerous, it is a huge area that they will have to cut out of her chest.
712042 tn?1254569209 1st 2009 I have had increasing episodes of chest tightening, vasospasm and chest pain only relieved by up to two sprays of nitro. In most episodes it is not brought on by physical exertion but by some other cardiac demand out of my control. The rare but familiar sharp, quick spasms that go up the heart to jaw and thru to the back I assume involve the LAD. The spasming in the microvessels seem to be the chest tightening and SOB that can accompany this.
Avatar f tn There is no special treatment for such injuries, except rest for a period of time after the injury, and then moderate exercise for the next few weeks. If he experiences any chest pain it would be adviseable to take him to a physician, but outside of an anti-inflammatory there is no special protocol for treatment. Splinting is contraindicated.
881463 tn?1245345649 Once I had the good results and a few days after the aforementioned tests I started getting chest pain in the middle to left side of my breastbone area that is anywhere from sharp to dull and radiates to my back and a bit in the left arm as well. Well this set me off again and I have ended up in the ER 4x in the past three weeks thinking I had either cancer or a heart attack.
Avatar m tn If there is angina (chest pain) and medication (nitro, etc.) does not provide relief, then intervention is recommended, otherwise medication and exercise is the recommended protocol.
Avatar m tn I have been experiencing this left side chest pain for over 2 years now. The past year and a half, I have been in the charity system and had multiple test including, echo's, blood work, stress test, holter monitors, ekgs. I recently just got insurance and got established with a family Doc, been seeing hime about 3 months. I've had an ekg, holter monitor, and blood work done through him. He referred me to a cardiologist and he did an ekg and then just pushed it off and said I'm fine.
Avatar n tn Is it protocol for a doctor to tell a cataract patient that the iol they will be putting in their eye does not focus at different depths like the natural lens does?
