I have had the same symptoms this week as well. A "tinge" on top part of left chest and a numb feeling in my upper left arm. I have had this before about a year ago. Just had an EKG, chest X-ray from front and left side, "clean x-rays", normal BP and pulse. Having a stress test on Wednesday. I agree, I think it is a pinched nerve or something around the chest/arm pit area. Doc said, maybe shingles but I don't believe it.
I also have pain in mine left side of foot and some time the pain in mine foot is high. i also have pain in mine left chest left side of shoulder.
Mine parrents have history of Cardiac problems and have stunt. Several time i went to cardiologist mine ECG, blood pressure, ETT Ecocardiogram and Cardiac Enzyme all fine. Mine Colestrol level is also ok. i walked daily and never feel any problem in walking whether it is halfy an hour or more.
When anxiety/panic attacks strike, u feel like dying w/ sympton like racing heartbeat, left arm numb/pain, headache, feel like pass out, fatigue, chest pain, & blood pressure rising. One occasion, I had a blurring vision. In 2012, I went to ER 7 times in a years for panic attacks. The only problem doc found is acid reflux that cos my panic attacks. In fact, I went thru a series of testing (EKG, stress test, x-ray, CT scan, & blood test). Everything came back fine.
I have been suffering from a feeling of being light headed and falling over, and last week while driving I thought i was going to pass out, and all of my right side went numb , I am also suffering from stabbing chest pains on the left side of my chest and aching in my left arm, I have had a lot of tests done on my chest and heart and they were all clear but when i got a look at my records with my gp, it said that I have got single vessel disease, anybody help me I am lost now and dont know what
I wanted to ask why is my whole left arm is always numb, and I always hear or feel a ticking tic on my chest sometimes at my back. I am a 72yo guy. Been to 3 cardio but no1 can tell me about the sound and the reason y my left arm is always numb. I also feel a pain in my chest that doesn't stay in one place, sometimes in my breast, under arm, or on the other side of my chest but my arm.is not numb when I feel the pain.. can someone tell.me.if u felt like this too? It bothers me a lot.
One day when the outer 3 fingers on my left arm went totally numb. The tests showed that my ulnar nerve was pinched in the elbow and it was severe enough that it required surgery to move the verve out from between those bones. It wasn't a big deal at all was in and out of the surgery in about 6 hours. I'm not sure what treatment options are available if the nerve isn't that significantly damaged.

I recently just got insurance and got established with a family Doc, been seeing hime about 3 months. I've had an ekg, holter monitor, and blood work done through him.
3 days latter I got the same pains just worse. This time the left side of my face went numb. Tightness in the chest and sholder and upper back pain along with my left arm numb and tingling. When I saw my doctor she had that face like she did not believe me. She did anothe EKG and this time she said it was diffent from the fitst EKG she had done. I went back to the ER had an MRI, Labs and X Ray . Everything turned out normal.
I am 20 years old, healthy but over the past week the left side of my face started going numb and now my left arm goes numb and its very weak. I have no chest pain and no pain anywhere else in my body. I went to the ER a few days ago but they said it was anxiety related but the symptoms seem to get worse and progress and I am not anxious.

However, since then my whole left side has went numb. Of course with Christmas yesterday, can't get in touch with my Dr. What could be causing this numbness and tingling?
By the next morning I realized my entire left side of my body was numb, including my scalp, face, ear, neck, chest, arm, back, but, leg and foot! I went to ER but they sent me home as I have no other symptoms and no risk factors for stroke. It is still numb and it has now been 48 hours. I'm worried I'm going to drop dead any minute! Should I be? Should I go back to the ER and demand and MRI?
Hi there, I am 33 and about 5 years ago I was working out hard and doing a lot of sit ups and all the sudden in one week I had a herpes out break (first time ever but impossible since I was not active for over a year), a prostate infection (could not urinate at all, and severe constipation along with leg pain.
Then about an hr after that started I started to experience shoulder and chest pains in my left side. Since then still the headache and shoulder and chest pressure a few times a day. Yesterday my entire left arm and hand went numb with shoulder pressure, and a small amount of pain. Any ideas or comments on what could be going on???
Over the next several days I experienced persistent weakness / numbness on my left side, especially my arm and leg but also my left jaw and face to a lesser extent. Also minor chest tightness. Again, taking Xanax completely removed my symptoms, but I tried to stay off it since I know it is easy to develop a dependence. Also, after waking in the morning up all of my symptoms seemed gone, only to reappear an hour or so after waking.
I am 23, female, no family history of heart probs, non smoker ocassional drinker. It is on the left side of my chest, radiating out, down my left arm and up my neck into my jaw. Sometimes its the middle of my chest, sometimes its my breast area and to the left of my breast. Occasionally my left arm will feel numb as will the left side of my face (only happens very occasionally).
On Nov 29 I wrote to you about my youngest son (16) who was complaining of chest pain and subsequently of weakness in the left side of his body. I called his pediatrician and she had me take him to the emergency room to have him checked out. After running several tests, including blood test and a Head CT w/contrast. Every test result was normal, but his white blood cells where a little low which the hospital thought might be caused by a slight viral infection.
then about 3 weeks ago had major chest pain... pretty much felt crippling. the pain went to my left arm, and my arm went completely numb plus my fingers were all tingly and stuff..the pain in my chest lasted for about 2 hrs after that.. got really tired and went to bed with it still hurting. then a week after i had chest pain and it went up my left side of my neck and down my left arm. the pain lasted for a couple minutes then went away.
